Mission
The FINANCIAL ANALYST (M/F) is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of accounting and financial reporting for the project.

Main Responsibilities
Ensure accuracy and compliance of accounting and financial reporting.
Prepare monthly and annual closings, tax returns (DSF), and internal financial reports.
Perform bank reconciliations, budget monitoring, payroll, and cash calls.
Respond to audit queries and follow up on implementation of recommendations.
Maintain accurate accounts payable/receivable records and update the fixed asset register.
Support internal control and continuous improvement of financial processes.
This position is based in Douala.

Requirements
Education: Degree in Finance, Accounting or Audit (Master’s level or equivalent).

Experience: More than 8 years’ experience in a renowned audit firm.

Industry Experience: Experience in industrial or manufacturing setup is an asset.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems such as SAGE or equivalent.

Attributes: High level of accuracy, autonomy, analytical skills, and ability to work under pressure.

Knowledge: Solid knowledge of OHADA accounting standards, local tax regulations, and internal control principles.

Role Context

Under the responsibility of the Gateway supervisor, the Agent’s main mission is supervising airside activities (loading and offloading of flights) in line with GSAM procedure, to ensure the optimal flow of information via internal DHL systems and applications, as well as the preparation and administrative follow-up of operational processes. Preparation of all documents and reports related to the activity, in accordance with internal procedures and working methods. Ensuring that flight alerts, pre-alerts and paperwork for Movements and MAWB are executed promptly and in compliance with Global SOP and airline requirements. To ensure that service, cost, safety and legal requirements are maintained on a day-to-day basis. Improving on shipment visibility by ensuring all appropriate checkpoints and standard remarks are done in line with GSOP standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Has supervising responsibility for all Network Control services
• Ensure accuracy of data on outbound flights.
• Ensure that the assigned MAWBs are based on the bookings done with the airline.
• Ensure compliance with the network trace response standards.
• Ensure that Operations and the ACS department have the right number of ULDs for their activities and monitor RUM on a daily basis to have a balanced stock of ULDs in country and liaise with Lagos HUB in case there is a need for ULD
• To ensure full compliance to Network Operating Standards and all GSOP procedure
• Provide a tracing service for the network,
• Provide administrative support to NCG management
• Negotiate with airlines to gain additional space for emergence request.
• Ad hoc linehaul purchase.
• Coordinate all business requirements in between Network
• Facilitate proactive customer notification and service recovery.
• Update flight schedule to all Network.
• Lead a network control team to monitor the inbound and outbound shipment data to be transmitted on time.
• Organize appropriate shifts and manning levels.
• Monitor all inbound alerts and transmit the information to the different section supervisors.
• Reprocess wrongly declared shipments.
• Answer all incoming traces
• Daily planning and closure of movements on OCNT.
• Process and create incoming and outgoing messages, transmissions via internal IT systems on time.
• Ensure manifesting (TGV) compliance.
• Support the ACS department in the administrative tasks related to the receipt and shipping of ACS goods, within the stipulated deadlines in accordance with ACS regulations and standards. Prepare transport documents related to operational activity.
• Check ACS customer bookings to anticipate any connection or charging issues.
• Ensure Scale control, Load control and ULD control functions have accurate inputs and are properly managed to ensure safety and accountability.
• Follow and confirm on CALMS, all shipments, Imports, Exports that transit through the HUB on Commercial Flights.
• Monitor and track inbound network data to ensure it is received in time for Sort operation.
• Monitor and action network traces, queries and service incidents, local or international, to ensure smooth transition of materials.
• To monitor, update, compile and submit daily on-hold reports to provide visibility of shipments not yet uplifted via the network and commercial flights at the end of operation at the Hub.
• Update HUB systems and applications to ensure all required transmissions are sent and received on time. Also ensure all necessary data is entered accurately in a timely fashion to allow sorting/scanning to take place smoothly.
• Conduct/Coordinate warehouse searches emanating from network trace requests and provide timely feedback. Manage AQCC daily to ensure shipments are updated accurately and on time.

Minimum Requirements

Education & experience

• 4+ or more years of experience in related area of responsibility.
• Subject matter expert in service, production, or support area of responsibility.
• Performs all of the standard and all of the specialized and most complex aspects of the function.
• Comprehensive knowledge in technical or specialty area.

The Opportunity

The EiE Coordinator is responsible for the technical management, direction, representation and supervision as well as the monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of the project. In this role, you will ensure the quality and INEE standards in the implementation of the educational project. You will support vulnerable children affected by conflict to receive quality basic education in safe and child-friendly environments.

As EiE Coordinator, you ensure the technical quality of the interventions that fall under your technical sector in terms of emergency programming and support to the staff of Plan International Cameroon but also to the staff of the implementing organization under your supervision to implement activities in line with international and national standards.

Specifically, you will provide technical support for strategic approaches, implementing, monitoring and evaluating Plan International’s EiE project in response to the Lake Chad Basin crisis impacting Cameroon. In addition, it could be called upon if necessary for technical support in the education sector. Your dimensions of role combine:
• Design and rapid assessment of the educational needs to be enabled by the project
• Technical support for the implementation of the project/programme
• Local representation.

The Individual

We are looking for someone with a Master degree in education or other related sectors. As EiE Coordinator, have an experience in education in emergencies is required, preferably in conflict and fragile settings. Ability to learn quickly and adapt experience/lessons learned in other emergency contexts to the emergency response context in Cameroon. Knowledge of Minimum Standards for Education in Emergencies (INEE).

You need to have a solid experience in the management, monitoring and supervision of educational projects, an ability to work in a multicultural environment and to establish harmonious and effective working relationships, both inside and outside of organizations, in stressful situations. Demonstrated ability to network and liaise with major donors in the education sector, including Irish Aid, UNICEF, ECHO and excellent project design, participatory monitoring and evaluation skills.

As EiE Coordinator, an excellent written and spoken English, with French being an advantage. Also, Previous work experience in the field of accelerated education program implementation is an asset.

OPPORTUNITY
The Country Finance Director (CFD) plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the finance strategy in alignment with the Country Strategic Plan (CSP). About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Head of IT Operations to lead the day-to-day delivery of global technology services at Plan International. This pivotal role ensures the stability, security, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure, enabling 10,000 staff across multiple regions to connect, collaborate, and deliver programmes that advance children’s rights and equality for girls.

About You

You are an experienced IT leader with a strong technical foundation and a proven ability to deliver results in complex, global environments. You bring:

Lead and support finance staff across field locations.
Ensure partners have strong financial reporting, record‑keeping, and internal control systems.
Review and validate partner financial reports and budgets.
Build capacity of partners and field finance teams through training and regular field visits.
Monitor fund utilization, forecasts, and compliance with Plan and donor policies.
Support audits, risk mitigation, and adherence to financial standards.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and donor reports.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams for smooth operations and improved performance.
The Individual

As Roving Finance Coordinator, you need to have a Masters’ degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent Diploma. You will have a proven experience in financial management, partner capacity building, and donor reporting and an experience supporting senior management and coordinating multi‑site operations and a knowledge of project accounting and major donor requirements.

As Roving Finance Coordinator, you need to have a high integrity, transparency, and commitment to safeguarding. You will be a Strategic thinker with strong analytical and decision‑making skills with an Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills and an experience with financial systems (SAP) is an advantage.
