Description du poste :

Le Stagiaire en Webmaster est comme ce poste le précise, est à la recherche de savoirs et de compétences dans le domaine de la communication Web. Sa polyvalence est telle qu’il se frotte à différents domaines.   Il va, à la fois, disposer des talents de rédacteur, de graphiste, mais également de technicien informatique et même de développement des sites Internet. De ce fait, il va animer le site de l’entreprise, va participer à sa maintenance et à sa mise à jour ; participer à la rédaction et l’intégration de contenus éditoriaux, illustratifs, vidéos, etc… Il va en outre s’occuper de l’intégration des éléments multimédia et de la gestion du site ; contribuer à l’amélioration constante du référencement du site ; veiller à la bonne navigabilité du site.

Missions:
Placé sous la responsabilité du Directeur General, l’agent de crédit et de recouvrement stagiaire a pour principales missions de créer, développer, gérer un portefeuille sain de crédits et procéder au recouvrement des créances douteuses et immobilisées.

Principales Activités :  

•    Prospecter les clients;
•    Analyser les demandes de crédit;
•    Déterminer la solvabilité des clients;

•    La conduite des actions propres au précontentieux (visites terrain, évaluation du patrimoine, rédaction des protocoles d’accord…) ;
•    La validation des notes de synthèse dans chaque dossier retraçant l’historique des relations avec le débiteur et indiquant les montants à recouvrer et les actions menées ;
•    La préparation et la participation aux comités contentieux/recouvrement, puis la rédaction des comptes rendus y relatifs;

Missions:

Main activities:

Fonctions Principales
Sous la supervision directe du Spécialiste en Suivi et Evaluation (S&E), le Stagiaire en

l’amélioration des outils, des techniques, des lignes directrices et du matériel de formation pour

Stagiaire en Planification, Suivi, Evaluation et Apprentissage (PSEA)

Tâches et responsabilités principales
 Participer à fournir une contribution substantielle et faciliter le développement de systèmes
PSEA consolidés de haute qualité, axés sur les résultats, pour le CCPO et ses projets;
 Contribuer à assumer des fonctions d’analyse et d’évaluation en facilitant la coordination
intra-projet du format de rapport et de suivi, y compris l’élaboration de formats de rapport
unifiés et la fréquence des rapports et des calendriers de distribution (suivi et tendances de
la performance PSEA globale du programme) ;
 Contribuer à l’identification et à la fourniture de termes de référence pour les évaluateurs
internes et externes afin de réaliser des évaluations techniques et professionnelles
spécifiques, conformément aux normes internationales de probité et de bonnes pratiques ;
 Contribuer aux projets sur le terrain en aidant les communautés locales à identifier et à

critères/protocoles pour le suivi et l’évaluation de l’implication effective des communautés
et des institutions dans les activités intégrées de conservation et de développement sur les
sites de projet, conformément aux attentes en matière de résultats du système PSEA
mondial du WWF ;
 Contribuer à l’examen de la qualité des données sociales et économiques existantes dans
la zone du projet, des méthodes de collecte et de la mesure dans laquelle elles fourniront
de bonnes statistiques de base pour l’évaluation de l’impact ;
 Contribuer à l’élaboration d’un plan de renforcement des capacités liées au projet en
matière de PSEA et d’établissement de rapports, organiser et entreprendre des formations
avec les parties prenantes, y compris les parties prenantes primaires, sur les compétences
en matière de PSEA, y compris les aspects participatifs ;
 Contribuer à la réalisation de visites de suivi et de consultations sur l’examen des progrès
sur une base périodique de six mois, ainsi que fournir des conseils pour s’assurer que les
plans PSEA sont cohérents avec les lignes directrices et les politiques du WWF ;
 Contribuer à l’élaboration et/ou à la reformulation des propositions de projets existants ;
 En collaboration avec le Spécialiste en Suivi et Evaluation, examiner, produire et diffuser
des documents techniques pour le WWF-CCPO et ses projets.

OVERVIEW OF THE FUNCTIONS OF THE POST

Under the overall authority of the Director of the Division for Gender Equality, under the supervision of the Chief, Policies and Strategies for Gender Equality and within the general assignment of support of the work of the Division, the intern will undertake the following duties:

TASKS

Assist in follow-up, monitoring and reporting of activities pertaining to global priority gender equality to realize the fours Strategic Objectives of UNESCO in accordance with the 41 C/4 and 41 C/5;
Analyze documents and projects related to the promotion of gender equality and women’s empowerment in all UNESCO domains and draft related reports, briefings and notes;
Assist in developing effective communication materials for the Division including its social media outlet, drafting content (e.g. documents, news, webstories, photo galleries and other dynamic content) for the Division’s website;
Assist in the organization of the Priority Gender Equality related conferences, events and outreach initiatives;
Provide assistance, if and as requested, in maintaining regular contacts and cooperation with stakeholders and partners;
Assist in the organization and implementation of training activities and the development of tools and guidelines of the Division
Contribute to the preparation and follow-up of the sessions of the Executive Board and/or the General Conference as assigned,
Undertake other tasks upon request of DIR/CAB/GE.

Active participation in all of the above mentioned tasks and duties, and flexibility in engaging in any new tasks that may arise.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
The general learning objectives of the internship is to obtain professional experience in the implementation of Priority Gender Equality at UNESCO which relates to and supplements graduate level studies of the intern, and to develop knowledge and understanding of the functioning and working methods of UNESCO. The specific learning objectives will be discussed with the intern in the beginning of the internship assignment.

You must be at least 20 years old to apply.

Academic qualifications:

At the time of your application to the internship programme:

You are currently enrolled in a graduate programme (Master’s degree, PhD, or equivalent, second university degree or higher).
You have recently graduated with a Master’s degree or PhD (or second degree as defined above), 12 months prior to the start of the internship.

Please note that candidates who have completed their full-time bachelor’s degree but are not enrolled in a graduate programme are not eligible to apply.

Applicants in secretarial/assistant or technical/professional assignments must be enrolled in a secretarial school or in a specialized technical/professional institution, and must have reached the last year of their studies, or have recently graduated (within the last 12 months) from their school or institution.  

Languages:

The entity also coordinates both the reporting on the condition of sites and the emergency action undertaken when a site is threatened. It organizes capacity-building seminars and workshops, updates the World Heritage List and database, develops teaching materials to raise awareness among young people of the need for heritage preservation, supports the implementation of the 2011 Recommendation on the Historic Urban Landscape and keeps the public informed of World Heritage issues.

Living Heritage
The Living Heritage entity is responsible for the implementation of the 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage. It supports efforts to safeguard intangible cultural heritage, ensures respect for the intangible cultural heritage of the communities, groups and individuals concerned, and raises awareness of the importance of the intangible cultural heritage. The entity supports the governance mechanisms of the Convention, develops periodic reporting and the assessment of nominations to the listing mechanisms. It also administers the International Assistance mechanism of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Fund and monitors projects; designs and monitors global programmes, strategies and funding priorities; develops new knowledge and training content; organizes training; provides technical backstopping for policy development; builds and maintains partnerships; develops fund-raising proposals.

Diversity of Cultural Expressions
The Diversity of Cultural Expressions entity promotes the diversity of cultural expressions and the creative economy as vectors for sustainable development. Its mission is to ensure the effective implementation and monitoring of the 2005 Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions and the 1980 Recommendation concerning the Status of the Artist. The Entity fosters international cooperation by providing assistance to governments around the world to design, monitor, and evaluate policies that promote the diversity of cultural expressions and the creative economy. It also coordinates and monitors the Convention’s statutory obligations, notably by providing support for the sound decision-making of the Convention’s governing bodies through knowledge sharing and data collection, analysis, and distribution.

Communication, Cities and Events
The Communications, Cities and Events unit provides coordination and services to the entire Culture Sector along three main poles: 1) Communication, including coordinating the publications and webpages of the Culture Sector; 2) Cities: coordinating the UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN), which promotes cooperation with and among cities that have identified creativity as a strategic factor for sustainable urban development; 3) Events: The unit also supports the planning and logistical organization of the statutory meetings of the Culture Conventions, and coordinates the organization of special events.

Culture and Emergencies  
The Culture and Emergencies entity acts as the Secretariat of the 1954 Convention on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict and its two (1954 & 1999) Protocols, the 1970 Convention on the prevention of the illicit trafficking of cultural property and the 2001 Convention on underwater cultural heritage, as well as the 2015 Museums Recommendation and the museums programme. In addition, it is responsible for emergency preparedness and response in the area of culture.

Cultural Policies and Development
The Cultural Policies and Development entity provides technical assistance to UNESCO Member States in the design, adaptation and implementation of cultural policies. The entity builds on UNESCO normative instruments and programmes in the field of culture and beyond, as well as advocates for the transformative role of culture in the broad public policy spectrum. It thus strengthens, assesses and measures the cross-cutting and multidimensional contribution of culture to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The entity is charged with the organization and follow-up of the UNESCO World Conference on Cultural Policies and Sustainable Development – MONDIACULT 2022 and works to integrate culture in the international agendas for sustainable development and peace and security, including through international and regional fora such as the G20.

Executive Office

The Executive Office of the Culture Sector provides strategic advice, quality control and management support to the Assistant Director-General for Culture (ADG/CLT) and ensures the overall coordination of the development, implementation and monitoring of the approved programme and budget of the Culture Sector, as well as the communication with other sectors at UNESCO, with other agencies of the UN System and with external partners.

The Administrative Office of the Culture Sector provides a wide range of financial and administrative services in accordance with UNESCO’s rules, regulations, and procedures in order to support the implementation of the Culture Sector programme. This includes general administrative and financial matters, human resources management issues and logistical support from resource planning to implementation, monitoring and liquidation of financial commitments.  

Interns also assist in the implementation of initiatives related to global priorities (Africa and Gender Equality), priority groups and transversal thematic areas, such as culture and education, culture and climate change, indigenous peoples, SIDS, and youth.

TASKS
Duties and responsibilities

In this framework, we are looking for candidates to join the Culture Sector as interns to work under the overall authority of the Assistant Director-General for Culture (ADG/CLT), and the general supervision of the Director/Chief of Entity, and the direct supervision of the Head of Unit/Programme Specialist to contribute to the work of the Unit/Entity, in particular to:

Assist in the implementation and monitoring of Culture programmes and activities.
Contribute to the preparation of documents, reports, work plans and communication content including briefings, talking points, speeches and online content for the Sector.

OVERVIEW OF THE FUNCTIONS OF THE POST

Under the authority of the Cabinet Coordination Officer, and under the supervision of one of the Director-General’s advisors, the intern will assist the Advisor in preparing files on subjects related to the fields of competency of UNESCO (education, science, culture, social and human sciences and communication).

TASKS

In addition, interns in the Speechwriting Pool (Pôle Langage) will help prepare elements for various interventions by the Director-General (in French and in English). They will help write speeches, talking points, messages, editorials, articles and forewords. They will also carry out documentary research with a view to preparing speeches or official visits by the Director-General. Under the supervision of the Head of the Pôle Langage, they will also revise correspondence to be signed by the Director-General.
