Job Description

Engineer – Core Network Operations.Technology
Accountable for meeting and prioritising assigned tasks, targets / deadlines
Responsible for self-learning and development with guidance from the Manager

Ensure cohesive working with the other team members

Report at process and functional level

Escalations

Escalate issues that will result in significant time, scope, employee / client or cost impact if not resolved
Provide solutions to issues that require formal resolution

Performance

Ensure effective execution of day-to-day operations and resolution of operational issues
Improve productivity and quality through leading practice initiatives

Reporting

Report on daily checks (CS&PS Core nodes) 
Identify key risks, issues and dependencies and propose mitigation actions
Provide suggestions regarding operational changes
Responsibilities
Operational Delivery 

Participate in core network (Circuit Switch, Packet Switch) area trouble shooting, remote / on-site support and emergency recovery activities.
Be involved in the System / Function Verification, trial project and support activities.

Provide technical support in core network (Circuit Switch, Packet Switch) area towards Marketing Unit, Customer service, and other departments.
Perform new product lab test, customer environment qualification and integration
Ensure effective maintenance of PS and CS network elements and implementation of network requirements and specifications to support business strategic services and products
Liaise with Sales Engineers and other technical staff to troubleshoot global network problems.
Perform full system tests daily as required by circumstances.
Develop and maintain a knowledge base for core network technologies.
Prepare and provide consulting support to project team as the need arises.
Follow up installations and preventive maintenance on Ericsson nodes (MSC, MSS, MSC-S Blades, SGSN-MME, GGSN/EPG, BSC, RNC, MGW, SBG HLR-FE, HSS-FE, EIR-FE, CUDB, IMS, vSBG, IPWORKS) and Huawei nodes (BSC, RNC, CloudMSE, CloudPCRF, SBC, etc.)
Oversee software upgrades in Core nodes (PNF&VNF&CNF)

Manage and coordinate roaming configurations and routine tests
Coordinate Disaster Recovery testing and reporting
Prepare reports daily, weekly, and monthly for Management and relevant Group functions
Act as liaison between Network Managed Service (MS) vendor and IT team and/or IT MS vendor.
Qualifications
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

B.Sc. in Electrical/ Electronic or Telecommunications Engineering.

MSC in Telecoms or equivalent would be an advantage.
At least 4 years work experience in a medium to large telecoms company

Experience in troubleshooting TCP/IP with protocol analyzers, Wireshark, legacy Core network operations, roaming cloud based systems, etc.
Experience on Ericsson and Huawei core equipment portfolio will be desirable.

KNOWLEDGE

Understanding of 3GPP, ITU-T and ANSI standards.

Voice SIP / RTP, ISUP and voice convergence technologies, including IMS (including VoLTE and VoWiFi).

Online Charging System (OCS) and CAMEL in billing and call control.

Core Network virtualization and cloudification

SKILLS

Basic understanding of telecom network key technology is preferred
Familiar to 3GPP, ITU-T Standard and Core network and flow is preferred.
Voice SIP / RTP, ISUP and voice convergence technologies, including IMS (including VoLTE and VoWiFi).
Hands on with sniffers, Wireshark and testing tools advanced mode.

Responsibilities
– Provide inputs for digital services in the business planning cycle
– Timely issue and execute quarterly cycle plans
– Continuously monitor progress on digital services targets, and take appropriate corrective actions when and where necessary.
– Perform effective digital services management :
o Identify and/or define services that will bring value to MTN
o Source and evaluate third-party providers for the delivery of identified/defined services

– Analyse and document end-to-end digital services related customer processes through the lens of the customer and highlight redundant and/or necessary activity by the customer, pain points for the customer and general process inefficiencies
– Integrate the customer’s perspective into the assessment of MTN Cameroon’s policies and processes;
– Design User experience journey according to best practices and standards for all digital services related interaction between customer and MTN brand to drive positive and consistent experience and residual memory.
– Use digital services specific customer data to provide recommendations that remove unnecessary touchpoints, eliminate pain points and increase delight points;
– Manage operational implementation plans, derived from strategic objectives;
– Forecast potential pitfalls and proactively redesign processes or user experience journey in order to prevent and/or eliminate them;
– Drive process improvement and alignment organization wide, aimed at monitoring performance, identifying and addressing gaps in customer experience based on direct and indirect customer feedback;
– Manage inter-functional relations to ensure synergy across the various departments towards executing segment or business stream strategy;

Reporting

Develop and produce periodic reports as and when required 

Review reports on specific projects as per the defined timelines as and when necessary

Report end-to-end projects and the performance as well as challenges and actions for improvement

Periodically provide input into the review of reports relating to progress made within the sub-division and in accordance with the measurement metrics set by the organization

Qualifications
Education / Business Degree

Minimum of 3-year degree in Marketing, Engineering or Business Administration
Masters advantageous 

Fluent in French and English

Work Experience 

Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience with successful track record in Digital Services, and 5 years’ experience in telecoms environment
Experience in supervising/managing others
Work experience in mobile data services would be an advantage
Work experience in an OTT organization would be an advantage.

Responsibilities
Promote fraud awareness across MTNC
Assist in the investigation and resolution of fraud incidents and allegations of corruption and breaches in conformance with documented policies and procedures.
Liaise with several Law Enforcement Agencies on investigations of frauds
Data mining/ Information gathering 
Advise internal stakeholders on Government regulations and anti-frauds standards
Develop periodic reports on fraud incidents, investigations and outcomes as may be required by the Manager, Forensic Investigations.

Plan, perform, analyze and report on outcomes of investigations in line with company procedures and guidelines.

Mission principale :

Le QHSE est chargé de définir, mettre en œuvre et suivre la politique QHSE de l’entreprise sur les sites de plantation, afin de garantir la conformité aux normes, la sécurité des travailleurs, la protection de l’environnement et la qualité des productions agricoles.

Activités :

1.    Qualité 

·   Mettre en place et suivre les procédures qualité (traçabilité des produits agricoles);

·   le respect des normes (ISO, certifications agricoles, etc.);

·   Assurer Gérer les non-conformités et proposer des actions correctives.

 

2.    Hygiène

5.    Reporting et suivi

Formation et expériences :

MISSIONS
Le Comptable a pour missions de :
– Imputation et vérification au jour le jour des opérations comptables de la SRC ;
– Production des brouillards comptables
– Etats journaliers des encaissements ;
– Rapprochemen et analyse des comptes ;
– Production des etats de rapprochements bancaires et de caisses mensuelles ;
– Préparer les arretes trimestrielles des comptes ;

– Elaborer la situation comptable trimestrielle à transmettre à la COBAC ;
– Elaborer les etats financiers
– Conserver et sauvegarder les documents comptables selon les règlementations en vigueur ;
– Vérifier et suivre toutes les opérations à caractère comptable liées aux activités des services ;
– Editer les tableaux comptables et annexes ;
– Participer aux travaux relatifs aux clôtures trimestrielles des comptes ;
– Participer aux inventaires.

PROFIL
– Bac +3/4 (Master 2) en Comptabilité, Finance, Gestion, Contrôle et Audit ;
– Expérience d’au moims 02 ans dans un poste similaire ;
– Connaissance en comptabilité OHADA, gestion financière, audit et contrôle interne ;
– Organisé, méthodique, rigoureux avec un bon esprit d’analyse et de synthèse ;
