Job Title: Solar Energy Technician (CAD Experience)

Electram Engineering is a leading provider of renewable energy solutions in Cameroon. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Solar Energy Technician with CAD expertise to join our team. This is a great opportunity for individuals passionate about sustainable energy and with a strong background in electrical and photovoltaic installations.

Responsibilitie:

– Designing, planning, and implementing solar energy systems, including photovoltaic arrays and associated electrical components;

– Conducting site assessments and evaluating the feasibility of solar energy installations;

– Creating detailed CAD drawings and schematics for electrical and photovoltaic systems;

– Collaborating with project teams to ensure accurate installation and integration of solar energy systems;

– Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to solar energy systems;

– Conducting quality inspections and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations;

– Providing technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams.

Requirements:

– Proven experience as a Solar Energy Technician, with a focus on CAD for electrical and photovoltaic installations;

– Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) for designing electrical and photovoltaic systems;

– In-depth knowledge of solar energy principles, components, and technologies;

– Strong understanding of electrical systems, including wiring, circuitry, and load calculations;

– Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues;

– Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work;

– Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to clients and team members;

– Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment;

– Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to project sites as required.

Remuneration:

This position offers competitive compensation on a job contract basis, with the potential for a retainer fee based on performance and sales.
