ONE (01) TECHNICAL DIRECTOR H/F (Ref.
IT0122)
Position based in Douala
Reporting to the Managing Director, your main missions will be:

 Play a key role in establishing technology vision and lead the Company’s technology innovationanddevelopment ;

 Recommend and implement the technical strategy roadmap that will align with company businessgoals and objectives in support of continuing growth ;

 See the role through the lens of the business, while driving innovative technologies that will
enhance the company’s products and services and create a sustainable competitive advantageforthe Company.
In order to fulfil your missions, you will:

 Actively participate in the definition and implementation of the long and short-termtechnologystrategy in line with the local Operation and Group Technology strategy and goals;

 Proactively establish relationships and meet with current and potential customers to demonstratethe company’s credibility at solving problems with technically differentiated solutions ;

 Seek partnerships with strategic suppliers, local renowned universities, and high schools toincreaselearning opportunities and research projects ;

 Responsible for the development and mentoring of mid senior level technical staff ;

 Responsible for network assurance and performance ;

 Change leadership focus and orientation ;

 Build a culture of accountability within the entire technical team ;

 Participate in the staffing of Department(Regions). This entails the identification of the capabilitiesrequired for immediate and future operations, the recruitment, training, development planningandmotivation of personnel.

Profile :

 A Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical, Electronic Engineering or related fieldofstudy.

 At least 10 years’ experience in the field of Telecommunications, Electrical, Electronic Engineering.

 Proven track record in innovation strategy .

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills in relevant languages to the accounts assigned.

 Strong team building experience, both direct and through cross-functional teams.

 International experience in innovative raw materials, ingredients industry and startup is a plus.

 Be leader and focus on optimization and continuous improvement .

 Bilingual speaking (English/French) with strong verbal and written communication skills is essential.
