MAIN OUTPUTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION
Essentials Duties and Responsibilities:
– Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting
data; preparing reports.
Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account
information.
Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit
and loss statement, and other reports.
Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Secures financial information by completing database backups.
Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy
and regulations.
File in tax returns monthly and annually
Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account
information and trends.
Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information
confidential.

Essentials Duties and Responsibilities
Daily recording of accounting transactions be in accounting books and Processing
of accounting documents
Global and detailed Budgeting: Preparing and executing closely follow up of Company
Budget (monthly, quarterly and annually)
Securing Financial Information (properly organised and kept)
Employee payroll management and Preparation of tax and social returns
Preparing payments (Customers and suppliers)
Preparing Financial Statements (Statutory and Management Reports)

Managing the Petty Cash and day-to-day expenses
Analysing of Accounting information and advising Management.
JOB EVALUATION CRITERIA: INTPUT
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
FORMAL
EDUCATION
Must have a Bachelor degree in Accounting as minimum
A post graduate degree or diploma advantageous
Business report writing
Must have a perfect knowledge of accounting, legal and tax laws
Must have a good knowledge of Microsoft Suite Office software
Must have a mastery of accounting and tax processing software
EXPERIENCE
Must have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience
Previous experience in a similar position will be an advantage
SME Finance or Corporate Finance Experience
