| Mission/ Core purpose of the Job: Define, Develop and Execute Performance Test engineering tasks which include developing and implementing of Performance engineering methodology, Performance test process, Test requirements and analysis, monitoring/analyzing Test results, collecting Test metrics and conducting Test reporting. Coordinate a cross functional team Quality and testing resources for issues free delivery of the projects and Demands for the different MTN Portfolios; | ||||||
| Detailed Job Description: | ||||||
| Operational Delivery • Work to ensure that developed products meet design specifications and are within total quality management limits and standards • Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff to manage the technical and business environment • Perform the selection of suitable load testing tools and liaise with IS Enterprise Support to prepare operation and maintenance procedure for these tools • Communicate with product developers, technical operations and architects on product issues • Interact across teams in a large organization to execute multiple tasks/assignments simultaneously with input from several resources • Maintains and updates the Quality and Performance tests strategy • Identify and communicate issues/risks applying technical and root cause analysis skillsStaff Leadership and Management • Ability to work in a team • Ability to coordinate a team of testers and Quality resources • Responsible for self-learning and development with guidance from the Manager • Ensure cohesive working with Cross functional teams • Accountable for meeting and prioritising own targets / deadlines • Provide information to the Manager on work accomplishments, individual / team challenges • Lead team meetings and contribute on specialist / technical areas when required • Review performance metric dashboards prepared on various performance metrics and provide input to the managerGovernanceAdhoc and Operational Meeting • Participate and provide inputs in Project meetings as and when required • Set up and manage adhoc meetings for day to day QA and Testing requirements as and when required Opco Operational • Participate and provide inputs in project status meetings • Propose operational changes and provide associated user impact assessment Performance • Ensure effective execution of day to day QA and Testing at the • Improve productivity and quality through leading practice initiatives Reporting • Provide inputs to the Manager (as required) relating to progress made within the sub-division and in accordance with the measurement metrics set by the organisation | ||||||
| Job Requirements: | ||||||
| Education: – Bsc or Masters Degree in Engineering or IT. – Bilingual (French/English) Experience – Minimum 3 years’ experience including: – Minimum 1 year of testing experience in the area of Mobile Telecommunications, – Minimum 1 year of test automation experience, – Minimum of 1 year of solid experience of Performance testing utilizing Test toolsTraining/Certification •Project Management; •ITIL Certification is required and mandatory and other Testing certifications | ||||||
