EXTERNAL VACANCY

Union Bank of Cameroon Plc is presently in search of an Operations Information System Developer for a 06 months professional internship in its head office, Douala Cameroon.

Opportunity is open external candidates.

Main Mission To efficiently automate the UBC account opening and maintenance process within a duration of six (06) months.

Design, develop and deploy an integrated web-based solution under the direct supervision and guidelines of the Manager,

Operations Verification. Reporting line: Manager,

Operations Verification Key Responsibilities:

V Develop and implement software application to manage

Account Opening /Maintenance process.

V Analyze challenges with AML implementation and put in place a process for total adherence and monitoring.

V Review bank’s entire database of account opening, proposing corrective measures or solutions. Putting a robust process for monitoring revenue collection in CAPU as per our general banking condition (These revenues include: – account closure charges, change of mandate etc).

V Train in house users on all applications developed to manage CAPU activities.

Monitor and follow up of all clients request for account opening, closure, updates etc is done within stipulated time frame.

V Promote effective communication between CAPU and other branches/units of the bank. V Propose solutions for electronic archives of account opening documentations.

V Perform all duties associated with opening/closing of accounts.

V Handle any other duties as assigned by management. Key Requirements:

V Good analytical skills.

Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, software engineering, project management or any related field V Good knowledge and interest in computer systems and the latest technologie

V Good knowledge in algorithm and programming languages such as PHP, HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, SQL, XML, JSON Good knowledge on database management such as Oracle and SQL Server.

V Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.

Team player V Ability to work under pressure to meet with deadlines.

V Mastery of the English and French Languages v Good moral and integrity.

V Skilled in web-based software development, project management and process automation.
