Manage the process for assessing employee’s performance on their jobs and ensure will ensure consistent execution of the annual performance cycle through processes.
Ensuire annual review and update of KPIs in line with Business Objectives.
Ensure annual review and update of Job
Descriptions in line with Business
Objectives.
Performance management reporting.
Other task assigned by the supervisor.
Role and Responsibilities
Facilitate administrative operations related to performance management in accordance with UBA policies, procedures and contractual obligations.
Implementing the performance management process in a fair and transparent manner.
Perform detailed analysis of staff performance after each appraisal cycle to identify opportunities and what to do to improve performance management.
Organize appraisal review meetings and monitor implementation of appraisal
review recommendations.
Carry out industry survey on Staff Performance and Career Development
practices.
Monitoring adherence to performance management activities
Manage Performance Management with rollout of performance calendar for the financial year.
Coordinate with employees and Line Business towards timely completion of performance management activities.
Responsible for sending status updates and reports pertaining to performance management to Manager.
Facilitate completion of off cycle performance management (employees on international secondments).
Perform analysis of the extracted rating to:
Provide clarity on the distribution of rating
Ensure that the evaluation of employee was fair
Support Manager, Performance Management in gathering
Group and performance related information
Additional Responsibilities
Resolve employee queries regarding performance management including resolution of non-technical back-end system issues/ escalation of system issues to the technical team.
Prepare regular and accurate reports on performance management scorecards.
Coordinating the reporting of poor performing employees.
Consolidate training requirements arising out of employee evaluation.
Annual Review and update of all jobs description to align with Banks global
objectives in collaboration with unit heads.
Reporting Provide inputs to Line Managers (as required) relating to progress made within the Unit and in accordance with the measurement metrics set by the organization.
KPIs
Timeliness in performing all assigned tasks
Timely Resolutions of staff complaints and request Quality of reports generated
Customer Satisfaction Index
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education level –Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or in any social sciences related discipline
EXPERIENCE
Minimum requisite experience – 3 years relevant experience Key Competencies:
