Apave Cameroon is currently recruiting on behalf of CAMALCO CAMEROON S.A., a subsidiary of a major multinational corporation. Based in the Adamawa Region, this large-scale mining project is dedicated to the responsible and sustainable development of bauxite resources. This strategic project is set to drive local industrialization, job creation, and community development.

Mission
The Construction Engineer is responsible for delivering the construction of the MSI, Hauling Road, IRF, and other infrastructure projects in line with company requirements, on time and within budget.

Main Responsibilities
Oversee and validate field surveys including topography, geotechnical, and hydrology for all infrastructure components.
Support the preparation of scopes of work, tendering processes, contractor selection, and contract finalization.
Supervise the construction of MSI, Hauling Road, IRF, and related infrastructure, ensuring compliance with budget and schedule.
Coordinate with stakeholders, including local authorities, communities, and regulatory bodies.
Ensure alignment with ESIA consultants for infrastructure projects as per company requirements.
Based in Martap (rotation 16 weeks/2weeks)

Requirements
Education: Degree in Civil Engineering.

Experience: More than 10 years of relevant experience.

Project Management: Extensive Project Management level experience in major project development construction and execution in civil engineering.

Project Scale: Strong project management background in large-scale civil engineering projects (around 50 MUSD).

Core Skills: Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and project delivery safely and effectively.

Attributes: Practical, hands-on, and results-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Languages: Fluent in both French and English.
