Fullstack Developer

Kaeyros Analytics GmbH is a young growing German Start Up based in Dortmund (Germany) acting in the area Data Science and Digital Transformation for SMEs. Following our mission “We Create Data Driven Solution” we transform the potential contained in the Data from our Partners into actionable in order to Optimize their Business and expand their Portfolio with original Digital products.

We are currently looking at you as Experienced Fullstack Developer (m/f) at the office of our Cameroonian subsidiary in Yaoundé/Tsinga (Cameroon).

In this position you are responsible for various digital projects within Kaeyros Analytics Germany. This involves the support of existing and new online web applications as well as further development of digital solutions in the environment of the products offered by Kaeyros Analytics.

Responsabilities

• UI/UX Development: Creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks like React, Next.js, or Angular.
• Responsive Design: Ensuring that the web application works well on different devices and screen sizes.
• Cross-browser Compatibility: Ensuring that the application functions consistently across different web browsers.
• Accessibility: Implementing features to ensure that the application is accessible to users with disabilities.
• Performance Optimization: Optimizing front-end code and assets for fast loading times and smooth user experience.
• Server-side Logic: Developing server-side logic using programming languages like JavaScript (Node.js) and Python (Flask, Django).
• Database Management: Designing and managing databases, including creating schemas, writing queries, and optimizing database performance. Common databases include MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
• API Development: Creating RESTful or GraphQL APIs to facilitate communication between the front-end and back-end components of the application.
• Authentication and Authorization: Implementing user authentication and authorization mechanisms to secure the application’s resources.
• Server Management: Configuring and managing web servers, such as Apache or Nginx, and deploying applications using platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Heroku.
• Git: Using version control systems like Git to manage code changes, collaborate with other developers, and track project history.
• Code Reviews: Participating in and conducting code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
• Collaboration Tools: Using collaboration tools like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket for project management, issue tracking, and team communication.
• Unit Testing: Writing and executing unit tests to ensure the reliability and correctness of code.
• Integration Testing: Testing the interaction between different components of the application to ensure they work together as expected.
• Debugging: Identifying and fixing bugs and issues that arise during development or testing.

Qualifications

• Debugging: Identifying and fixing bugs and issues that arise during development or testing.
• 5+ years’ experience in similar position.
• Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
• Advanced knowledge in modern framework (React, Django, React Native, NodeJs, Next Js…).
• Advanced knowledge in Databases.
• Experience with GitHub versioning tools and CI/CD.
• Self-organization and independent way of working.
• Fluent English and French skills (spoken and written).
