Job Title: Accountant Contractor
Department: Finance

Reporting to: Finance Manager
Contract: Short Term (12 Months)

PURPOSE:
The role objective is to support our very dynamic finance team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

« Collect all Fixed request and ensure a CEP is prepared and duly approved as
guidelines

« Ensure all PAF POs are properly raised in compliance with GAAP guidelines

« Maintain the Fixed Asset Register (IFRS and SYSCOHADA) by ensuring dispc
acquisitions are recorded properly

Report on all new assets acquired monthly (HFM)

• Petty Cash management

e Ensure all payments are recorded daily in the system

« Ensure all withheld taxes are calculated and recorded in accordance with the
and SYSCHOHADA

« Allocate all payments and invoices in supplier accounts daily

« Ensure Payments made by customers are recorded and allocated daily

« Ensure all expense claims are full approved and recorded.

Record all expense claims (PUL)

« Assist during reporting with assigned duties ensure reports are submitted o
BU/HQ as per ICFR and published reporting timetable

e Assist during statutory and tax audit with assigned duties ensure docurr
submitted on time.

Posting of manual journals assigned

« Assist the Senior/General Accountant in ensuring the smooth runnin;
business/department.

« Ensure full compliance with Yare code of conduct and Yara values in all
dealings

EDUCATION:

A First Degree in Accounting or other related fields.

EXPERIENCE:
2-3 years of work experience in related field.
