POSITION INFORMATION

Job title: Koisk manager

Duty station: Yaoundé, Cameroon

Reports to: Accountant

Duration of appointment: 3 years renewable contract upon yearly assessment

Probation period: 3months probation period with the possibility of extension

Language required: English and French.

Expected start date: As Soon as Possible

Job description

The Kiosk managers will be responsible for running and managing all the kiosk in the different regions. They will oversee the sales operations of the kiosks,keeping track of investments and revenues. They will install new kiosks or remove ones from locations that do not seem to work out.

The manager will be required to perform an analysis and identify the number of kiosks that need to be installed in a given area. This area can be just a single outlet or a public place, a neighborhood, or the whole city

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Reconciles bank statements and transactions. Also manages setup information for bank statement processing and reconciliation.• An author of Business Intelligence reports as presented in the web catalog. The role allows authoring within Business Intelligence Applications, Business Intelligence Publisher, Real Time Decisions, Enterprise Performance Management and Business Intelligence Office.• A role required to allow reporting from Business Intelligence Applications, Business Intelligence Publisher, Real Time Decisions, Enterprise Performance Management and Business Intelligence Office. This role allows you to run reports from the web catalog, but it will not allow a report to be authored from a subject area.• Sets up system parameters, lookups, profile options, and descriptive flex fields.• Analyzes Cash Management transactional information.• Manages cash positioning and forecasting.• View customer account details.• Manages supplier payments, customer refunds, and employee expense payments.• Assigns payment process attributes to documents payable, resolves document and payment validation errors, and reviews proposed payments. Views items that were rejected or removed from a payment process request.• Allows to download data exported from cash management related data.• Manages load interface file for import.• Grants access to the Financials web catalog folder.• Uses the functional user overview, and assigned tasks, and task lists.• Allows import of bank statement.• Sets up features allowing disbursement of funds for supplier payments, customer refunds, and employee expense reports.• Creates accounting for transactions, reviews journal entries, and runs account analysis, journal entries, and period close exceptions reports.• Runs all subledger accounting reports, and reviews journal entries.• Analyzes Subledger Accounting transactional information.• Allows to upload data file to import bank statements.• Grants access to persons to view address data.• Count their drawer cash at the start of a shift.• Take cash, checks, debit cards, and other payment forms from customers.• Answer account-related questions for customers• Prepare specialized types of funds for customers, including savings bonds, traveler’s checks, and money orders.• Exchange customers’ money for foreign currency• Place customer orders for checks and bank cards• Electronically record every transaction during their shift• Count their cash drawer at the end of their shift and reconcile to the beginning balance.

Education & Training Requirements

The minimum education requirement for this position is a bachelor’s degree, but tellers with an associate or bachelor’s degree can advance in social sciences are more readily to assistant manager, personal banking, loan officer, and bank manager jobs.

Bachelor or master’s degree in business administration, sales and marketing, or a related course and possess requisite technical knowledge combined with professional experience.
