The role
Based in Douala, you will plan, develop and implement the company commercial strategy to support and accelerate growth. You will also be responsible for leading the sales team.
The position requires the candidate to have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong managerial and organizational skills.

Profile
Bachelor’s degree in business studies or equivalent experience
Successful experience in B2B sales and negotiation, preferably with a software house or mobile solution provider
Minimum of three (03) years of experience as a sales Manager. Fluent in French and English.
A track record of entering new sectors through persuasive messaging and advocacy skills will be beneficial
Excellent organizational and leadership skills Technical sales experience would be a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities
Fully define the commercial strategy and the corresponding action plan to achieve the sales targets.
Continually identify new business opportunities to sustain commercial performance.
Define sales targets and track results
Recruit and/or manage a sales team (dashboard, monitoring reports, etc.) to meet or exceed agreed objectives
Manage the after-sales process
Manage field prospection to meet or exceed objectives
Monitor performance against the established plan and make the relevant adjustment to effectively penetrate the market
Understand the product sales cycle and challenges, including competitor strategies, and leverage this knowledge to refine sales strategies
Provide regular reports on the sales pipeline and progress
