We are looking for one of our clients in the FMCG sector (Fast moving consumer goods), an: ADMINISTRATIVE AND FINANCE OFFICER

Responsibilities will be, but not limited to the following:
Overseeing all accounts, ledgers and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate
OHADA Accounting & IFRS standards as well as other regulatory requirements.
Implementing proper mapping of the OHADA Chart of Accounts
Preparing the monthly financial statements to be presented to the group includes Statements
of Profit or Loss, Statement of financial position, capital spending summaries, tax provision
summaries, cash flow statements and long-term debt schedules.
Working with other staff/accountants to ensure that reporting deadlines are met monthly.
Maintaining responsibility for any month-end or year-end adjustment entries required to close
off ledgers.
Business analysis and business cases preparation
Maintaining and updating the accounting manual and be involved in staff training
Working closely with the Executive Leaders in the field to educate them regarding finance and
accounting procedures.
Work closely with external tax consultants to enforce tax planning and Efficiency
Manage tax
Other adhoc task as and when directed by management
Work with cashiers
Manage costing and pricing
Manage the administrative aspect: report on the workforce, be in contact with the
administrations (CNPS, Labour office).
Qualification:
Qualified Accountant – ACCA /CPA/ CMA or MBA in finance
Master’s in accounting and Finance
Experience:
Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting with focus on reporting in a FMCG
(Fast moving consumer goods) retail environment.
Must have at least 5 years as a Finance manager with direct reports in a multinational
company
Required skills:
Must master Ohada standards will be added advantage
Advanced excel skills, analytical thinking and problem solving.
Excellent communication skills and high command in English
