Mission : 

The Communications Manager defines and implements the company’s media and non-media strategy. He oversees promoting the company’s brand image, its products, and its achievements to its various audiences (populations, residents, funders, shareholders, etc.). It is also responsible for improving the employer brand and getting employees to cultivate a sense of belonging to the company.

Implementation of external communication and public relations and press campaigns

  • develop close contacts, internally, with the company’s functional and external branches, with the media and the press;
  • to segment the target audiences (institutional, consumer, etc.) and define the message to be conveyed to each of them (images, visuals, texts, etc.);
  • representing the company and maintaining a network of journalists in the press and media (radio, television, web);
  • negotiate advertising inserts (on and off line) in connection with agency customer managers (communications, media or directly with authorities);
  • manage the public relations and press budget.

Implementing events to promote the company

  • organize events that allow the public or journalists to meet and the company (business trips, business visits, conventions, and conferences, etc.);
  • develop key partnerships with institutions and/or major brands to promote the company’s interests (sponsoring, co-branding…);
  • set up grant or sponsorship operations to associations, foundations, or any other organization to enhance the company’s « sympathy » capital;
  • participate in key events in the business or the business sector (salons, fairs, etc.);
  • organize press conferences and represent the company and the executive in responses to journalists;
  • the Communications Manager can also intervene with the Tax Legal Commercial – Compliance Directorate to highlight the brand and its products from an operational point of view. 

Writing communication media

  • design promotional arguments and offer them on different media (flyers, brochures, etc.);
  • to develop and enforce the graphic charter (logos, institutional presentation materials, etc.) in connection with the creative teams (graphic designers…) of the studio and production (manufacturing manager…);
  • supervise the production of visuals (photos, reports, etc.) in connection with creative and studio teams;
  • participate in the design, or even supervise, the creation and updating of the website or websites, in order to promote the company on the web;
  • write articles, press releases, press files to pass on to journalists;
  • to animate the company’s press review and press book;
  • organize crisis communication.

Team organization and management

  • coaching teams of press officers and setting the quantitative and qualitative objectives of the teams;
  • recruiting and training new staff in public relations and the press (especially trainees) on a daily basis;
  • to manage the providers involved in public relations projects (communication agencies, press relations and public relations agencies, media agencies, etc.).

Profil : 

  • Master Degree in communication
  • 10 years experience in communication management
  • good general culture of the various media levers, excluding media (television, press, radio, web, events, etc.) and institutional (protocols, modes of partnerships,…);
  • very good knowledge of the company, its products, its economic and competitive environment;
  • knowledge of the marketing mix and marketing levers online, in order to promote the company’s products and services from a B to C perspective;
  • ability to manage multidisciplinary teams (communication agencies, public relations, event communication, printers,…)

Niveau d’études : MASTER 2 / BAC+5

Spécialisation : Marketing / Communication / RP / Journalisme

Niveau d’expérience : Expérimenté (de 10 à 20 ans)

Langues : 
Français : Maîtrise courante
Anglais : Maîtrise courante
