JOB DESCRIPTION 

Job Title:Regulatory & Reporting Officer 
Department:Tax, Legal, Commercial and Compliance
Reports To:Head of Tax, Legal, Commercial & Compliance 
Main Purpose of Role
: Ensure proper reporting in relation to all requirements pursuant to the financing documentation and applicable laws and regulations Ensure compliance with the regulation of the electricity sector and reporting to ARSEL Provide advice and analysis in relation to regulatory and sector related issues   
Main Responsibilities (this list is not exhaustive)
  Prepare and submit the reports required under the Financing Documents  Prepare and submit the reports required under the laws and regulation and ensure reporting to the stakeholders  Ensure compliance with the regulation of the electricity sector and reporting to ARSEL Provide advice and analysis in relation to regulatory and sector related issues  Provide assistance with Government officials and other stakeholders, prepare presentations and reports, administer meetings and circulate minutes of such meetings as required Assist in the development and implementation of relevant policies and procedures, including those relating to health and safety, environment, business integrity, corporate governance etc Provide such other general management and administrative activities as may be reasonably requested in order that it may carry on its business Ad hoc responsibilities in support of the GCMS legal, commercial & compliance, as appropriate

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications
Minimum of Law Master Degree in Law  5 years at least in a law firm or in-house legal department  •       OHADA knowledge. Strong experience in review and drafting of contracts Experienced in in-depth legal analysis and case studies Previous experience in the sector of electricity is a bonus Experienced with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc Fluent in English and French
LocationDouala, but requiring occasional domestic and international travel.
