Job purpose:

Assist the Country Head of Legal in all Secretarial duties of the Bank.
Responsible for reporting internally and at the level of the regulator.
Monitor legal security of the entire procedure for formalizing all kinds
of guarantees to be constituted on behalf of the bank.
Key Accountabilities:
Ensure end to end preparation and holding of Board of Directors sessions and General Assembly Meetings of the Bank.
Coordination of management meeting.
Establishment of minutes of meetings (Board, AGM, Management
committees etc…)
Manage all pre-litigation files of the Bank.
Ensure the transmission of all reports both to the regulator.
Follow-up the execution of the guarantees of the Bank.
Monitor and secure the management and processing of procedural
documents served upon the Bank (various seizures, notices to third
party holders)
Monitoring of legal liquidation files (successions and others)
Liaise with law firms and institutions involved in the collection of the
Bank’s claims or on litigation files.
Provide legal expertise to preserve bank interest.
Monitor the permanent update of the dashboards on the bank’s pre-
litigation and litigation files.
Prepare annual statistics on the collection portfolio
Design a procedure for processing documents.
Permanent collaboration with other departments of the bank.
Perform any other tasks assigned by the Head of Legal Unit or the
Executive Management
Qualification required:
Minimum Bac + 4 in Private Law or Business Law
Barrister at law Language Efficiency
Perfect command of the English language (spoken and written)
Average knowledge of French Language
Experience required:
4 years of experience required in a company or in a law firm
Have a good knowledge of banking regulations
Being bilingual is an added advantage
