EXTERNAL VACANCY

Union Bank of Cameroon Plc is presently in search of a candidate on professional Internship in its Treasury and Financial Markets department based in Douala – Cameroon. Opportunity is open for external candidates.

Main Mission

The intern shall be assigned with some specific daily tasks in the department in order to get acquainted with bank Treasury activities.

Provide operational and technical support on day to day administrative, financial and operational activities pertinent to the smooth running of the Department Reporting line: Head, Treasury and Financial Markets

Key Responsibilities:

V Prepare daily exchange rates applicable to customers transactions

V Prepare and publish

Treasury weekly newscast and statistics bulletin

v Prepare transfers files to request for prefinancing from BEAC

V Keep the portfolio of contractual deposits up to date, and set reminders for renewal at maturity

V Raise accounting tickets for the booking of Treasury transactions

V Maintain a database on financial and money markets transactions

V Raise MM and FX deal slips

V Maintain the FX blotter

V Provide required statistical data

Provide operational and technical support on day to day administrative, financial and operational activities pertinent to the smooth running of the Department for reporting

V Execute any other task assigned in the department

Position Requirements:

– Holder of a minimum of Master’s degree in Banking and Finance, Marketing, International trade, or any related field

> Integrity and Ethics well required Multitasking Great sense of proactivity and teamwork spirit

> Excellent communication skills with fluency in French and English

> Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint tools Application Procedure
