LIMS Implementer

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role in Douala for a LIMS Implementer. Responsibilities include implementing and configuring Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), collaborating with teams to customize modules, and ensuring system integration with laboratory equipment and processes. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, providing user training and support, and ensuring adherence to industry standards and organizational requirements. The candidate will also play a critical role in maintaining system updates and upgrades while ensuring seamless functionality.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in software and system implementation, including analyzing, configuring and customizing Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in troubleshooting and system integration
• Knowledge of database management, system maintenance, and IT infrastructure
• Familiarity with laboratory operations, processes, and industry compliance standards
• Effective communication and collaboration skills in both French and English to support team-based projects
• Project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proven ability to provide training and support to end-users
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Experience in the life sciences or healthcare sectors is a plus
