ASSIGNMENT
Design, manage and implement the BHH Group’s CSR and sustainable development strategy in order to make it a lever for
overall performance, reputation and creation of shared value, in line with the group’s 2030 vision.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. CSR Strategy & Governance
Define and update the Group’s CSR policy in relation to ESG issues, SDGs, and the requirements of stakeholders (customers, lessors, authorities, investors).
Establish structured CSR governance including CSR committees and relays at each industrial site or country.
Integrate CSR into the Group’s overall strategy and internal policies (HR, purchasing, production, environment, etc.).
2. Monitoring, Reporting & KPIs
Implement ESG/CSR performance indicators (e.g. carbon footprint, water/energy consumption, social inclusion, ethics).
Produce an annual CSR report aligned with international standards (e.g. GRI, SASB).
Contribute to internal and external CSR/ESG audits (e.g. ISO 14001, 26000 certifications, customer and investor audits).
3. Compliance & Certifications
Ensure compliance with national and international regulations on social, environmental, health and ethics.
Manage certification processes (HACCP, ISO 14001, ISO 26000, Rainforest Alliance, Ecocert, etc.).
4. Stakeholder Engagement
Represent the Group in CSR sector initiatives (NGOs, forums, responsible business networks).
Lead dialogue with local communities and partner NGOs on social and environmental issues.
5. Communication & Awareness
Develop awareness-raising and internal training actions on CSR (ethics, environment, safety, diversity, etc.).
Promote the Group’s CSR actions in communication channels (internal, PR, reports, etc.).
Job requirements and required skills
Training:
Bac+5 in Sustainable Development, CSR, Environment, Social Sciences, Management, or equivalent
Additional training in ESG, Audit, Ethics or Management Systems (ISO) appreciated
Experience :
Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in CSR / Sustainable Development, ideally in an industrial or agri-food group
Experience in a multi-country or multi-site environment , particularly in Africa, is a plus
Key skills:
In-depth knowledge of CSR standards and benchmarks (GRI, SDGs, ISO 26000, Carbon Footprint, etc.)
Good understanding of agrifood, social and environmental issues in Africa
Excellent cross-functional coordination, change management, reporting and project management skills
Leadership, ability to convince and influence management and stakeholders
LANGUAGES :
Fluent French essential
Professional English required (working with international partners, ESG reporting , etc.)
