1.    Introduction
Yaoundé International Business School (YIBS) is seeking proposals from qualified web development firms or individuals to enhance and modernize its existing website. The project aims to improve the website’s functionality, user experience, and overall design while ensuring compatibility with the latest web technologies.
YIBS is a prestigious institution dedicated to providing high-quality education and professional training. The enhanced website should reflect its academic excellence, global outreach, and commitment to student success.
 
2.    Project Goals & Objectives
The website enhancement project should achieve the following:
•    Modernized Design: Update the website with a fresh, professional, and engaging look.
•    Improved Navigation: Ensure an intuitive and user-friendly experience for students, faculty, and visitors.
•    Mobile Responsiveness: Optimize the website for seamless viewing on desktops, tablets, and smartphones.
•    Enhanced Security: Strengthen cybersecurity measures to protect student and faculty data.
•    Course Listings & Enrollment: Implement an improved course catalog with easy online registration features.
•    AI Integration: Explore the use of AI-powered chatbots for FAQs and student support.
•    SEO & Performance Optimization: Improve search engine rankings and website speed.
•    Multilingual Support: Ensure the website supports both English and French.
•    Payment Gateway Integration: Enable secure online payments for tuition and course fees.
•    Faculty & Student Portals: Develop a secure login area for students and faculty to access resources.
 
3.    Scope of Work
The selected firm will be responsible for:
1.    Conducting a website audit and usability analysis.
2.    Designing a modern, responsive, and visually appealing website.
3.    Developing and implementing new features based on YIBS requirements.
4.    Ensuring integration with existing student information systems.
5.    Providing training and documentation for website management.
6.    Offering post-launch technical support for a minimum of 6 months.
 
4.    Proposal Requirements
Interested vendors should submit a proposal that includes:
1.    Company Information: Name, address, website, and key contacts.
2.    Experience & Qualifications: Relevant experience with education sector websites, portfolio, and client references.
3.    Project Approach & Timeline: A clear methodology and estimated timeline for project completion.
4.    Technical Capabilities: Description of technologies, CMS platforms, and tools to be used.
5.    Security Measures: Proposed cybersecurity strategies for data protection.
6.    Pricing Structure: Detailed cost breakdown (design, development, testing, support, etc.).
7.    Support & Maintenance Plan: Post-launch support services and pricing.
8.    Compliance: Adherence to accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and data protection regulations.
 
5.    Budget & Payment Terms
•    The proposed budget should cover design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
•    Payment will be structured in phases based on project milestones.
•    Additional costs should be clearly outlined.
 
6.    Proposal Submission
