JOB DESCRIPTIONS

We are looking for an experienced, native English-speaking receptionist for a permanent, full-time position.

Position overview:

The Hotel Receptionist is responsible for reconciling all hotel cash register transactions, reviewing, organizing and compiling management reports in a timely manner, and ensuring the accuracy of guest invoices and city ledger transactions. He/she is also responsible for performing customer service agent duties as required, including check-in, check-out, switchboard operation and reservations.

Responsibility

  • Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data, as well as perform basic arithmetic operations
  • Perform customer service functions as required (i.e. check-in and check-out, take reservations, answer calls, etc.).
  • Verify and reconcile financial and statistical reports.
  • Prepare and distribute necessary daily reports (i.e. daily operating report, discount programs, tax reports, etc.).
  • Prepare and distribute month-end reports.
  • Verify and reconcile all cashier work for front desk and food service.
  • Verify, reconcile, consolidate and transmit all credit cards in a timely manner.
  • Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure accuracy of all figures reported, including statistics.
  • Enter and update financial information in the company’s communication network.
  • Perform daily, weekly, monthly and annual data processing system functions as required.
  • Keep management informed of any unusual operational or financial events and/or changes in circumstances
