We are looking for a Compensation and Benefit Specialist.
Key Accountabilities
§ Administer employee programs and policies (ex: employee health and wellness programs, insurance policies…)
§ Keep abreast with updates in government regulation, legislation and compensation and benefit trends. Ensure that compensation and benefits practices are in compliance with current laws and regulations.
§ Preparing compensation plans that include salary ranges and benefit packages for new hires.
§ Provide compensation and benefits consultation and support to employees and staff members.
§ Research and analyses competitive compensation practices in the job market, contributes to established compensation surveys appropriately.
§ Maintain and update compensation databases and consults with HR systems analysts regarding problems with programming and data integrity, and make recommendations for system enhancements.
§ Assists and collaborates in planning, collaborating, facilitation, administration, and reporting of the annual salary review program for regular staff employees.
§ Collaborates with line and staff managers to determine employee’s needs, and adjust salary structures and compensation packages.
§ Establish periodic HR audits and reports I line with salary administration.
Qualifications and experience:
§ Minimum bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Law, or other related field of study.
§ At least 2-5 years of experience in human resources and benefits management.
§ Strong computer literacy and experience with payroll software.
§ Highly organized work ethic.
§ High expertise in managing compensation programs, policies, procedures and applicable legislation.
§ Capacities and abilities:
§ Strong and proven analytical skills.
§ Excellent MS Office skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint).
§ Strong negotiation skills.
§ Excellent Communication skills.
§ Self-management skills.
§ Strong management skills.
§ Ability to work under pressure and tied deadlines.
