Job Objectives

: Market Risk Officer : Risk Management : Head Market Risk
: Head Office
• Collation of data and daily generation of market risk reports for treasury and securities
• Risk Measuring, Monitoring, Controlling & Reporting
Role & Responsibilities
▪ Collation of data from the operating systems and from market intelligence reports
▪ Prepare the daily price and liquidity risk reports for the Group
▪ Run the stress testing and simulation scenarios
▪ Write the monthly Market Risk Management Report (ALCO)
etc
▪ Other ad-hoc duties as required by management
▪ Reporting anomalies and potential risks to the Head, Market
Risk Measurement and Reporting
▪ Measurement, Monitoring and reporting of OPL
▪ IFRS reporting
▪ Measurement, Monitoring and reporting of FCCL
▪Team member in preparing IFRS reporting and loan
impairment schedule
▪ Micro: Daily, One week; Macro: One month

Key Performance Indicator
▪ Timely rendition of risk reports; Consistent collation of data for analysis; Accurate and realistic stress reporting
▪ EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Education- Minimum: First degree in economics, finance or
quantitative sciences related discipline.
EXPERIENCE
Experience – Minimum of 03 years banking or 4 years non- banking but related experience.
Key Competencies: Knowledge
▪ Understand banking operations
▪ Good grasp of balance sheet mapping
▪ Database administration
▪ Good knowledge of financial accounting with ability to
analyze and interpret corporate financial statements
▪ Good knowledge of the country economy and market
dynamics
▪ Good knowledge of the bank’s policies and procedures
