Responsibilities

HSD- MELT, Douala Office is requesting two/three (02/03) young graduates and/or final year students who want to enhance their arts, expertise, and skills of professional application of the technical knowledge they merited during their educational term. Therefore, we are looking for prominent Intern Software Engineers who will work with us on the Software Engineering team for a period of six months. Based on scope, performance, commitments, and skills, the intern candidate may be offered a permanent position in the Software Development team.

 


Responsibilities:
• Assist with the analysis, design, development, testing, and documentation of Software Solutions.
• Assist with estimating tasks, identifying work scope and obstacles, and proposing appropriate solutions.
• Assist to ensure customers can get quality software by proposing possible solutions from the User’s point of view after proper background study and analysis.



Educational Requirements

Requirements:
• Fresh Graduate or Final year student in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
• Must be a good team player and programmer with problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good at Algorithms and Data Structure.
• Knowledge of Object oriented programming in PHP/Java/Python(Advanced level is plus)
• Basic level knowledge of PHP 5.x-7.x or more – MVC Framework.
• Fair knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, XML, JSON, JavaScript, Ajax, and Bootstrap
• Knowledge of Relational Database Management System(RDBMS) Specially MySQL, MYSQL.
• Basic knowledge of Linux system (LINUX environment, shell scripting)
• Ability to find out website/web application bugs & fix them on their own.
• Must be well mannered, well behavior and a fun lover
• Full-time availability is preferred and the internship period is six months.
• Expected to be available 8 hours between (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) (Monday to Friday)
