Job title : Credit Analyst

Location : Douala
Job purpose :
To assist in analyzing all credit proposals presented to the bank.
Key Accountabilities:
Collate all individual loan proposals both new and renewals for
assigned area
Conducts quality assessment of customers and assigning risk grades
using the Moody’s and PM tools Secure the documents in a safe
under dual control (Transport documents, accepted draft/bill of
exchange….)
Assist in analyzing all product programs to ensure that all risks are
identified, properly mitigated and that these programs are in line with
the bank’s policies Endorses where applicable and delivers
documents to drawer as per covering letter requirement.
Assist in all trainings sessions designed to enhance the credit skills and
knowledge of relationship officers
Contribute to credit presentations/ submissions in the bank
Assist in facilitating the automation of all aspects of the credit
approval process as it relates to commercial and corporate lending
Assist in collating relevant information needed in the analysis of the
trends in the target markets and counter-parties and the rating of
industries, products etc. within assigned area.
Any other task as may be directed by the Head of Unit
Qualification required:
Minimum education level – B.Sc in a financial discipline from a reputable
institution. Relevant qualifications (Credit) would be an added advantage.
Experience required:
Minimum experience: 3 years’ experience in relationship management, credit
structuring or analysis
