Responsible for managing the overall development and implementation of the B2B sales action plan, he/she reports to the B2B Manager and is accountable for achieving the objectives of the B2B action plan. The candidate we are looking for must have experience in the petroleum products distribution sector in Cameroon and be able to develop internal and external interpersonal relationships, build a sales force and interpret the market environment in order to maximise value.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise, direct, train and motivate commercial sales personnel.
Establish and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
Coach and mentor, the team to seek out and make the most of opportunities.
Act professionally to meet and exceed customer needs.
Correctly interpret the market environment to derive a combination of maximum value and flawless operations.
Manage the development and overall implementation of sales strategies and marketing plans.

Ensure overall accountability for commercial sales results, including volumes, revenues, and margins.

Take the lead in recruiting sales staff and identify training opportunities suited to everyone.

Manage budget allocation across the department to ensure full buy-in.
Highlight any deviations from the plan in a timely manner and take corrective action as necessary and in accordance with the approved governance process.
Consolidate all budget entries from the reporting department to formulate the department’s budget.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree minimum in the areas of Business/ Engineering or other discipline.
Sales background and degree from reputable university
A strongly experience of at least 5 years in the distribution and sale of petroleum products in Cameroon or in another African country is absolutely required.
At least 2 years’ experience in a middle management position in the private sector.
A Proven track record evidencing powerful performance in conducting high quality Sales and Distribution activities.
Experience in managing/supervising a team would be an asset
