Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure all contracts comply with legal requirements and company policies.
- Monitor contract performance and compliance, addressing any issues or disputes that arise.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all contracts and related documentation.
- Collaborate with legal, procurement, and project management teams to align contract terms with company objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies for effective contract management and risk mitigation.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on contract-related matters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management. Experience in the mining industry is mandatory.
- Proficient in both English and French.
- Strong understanding of contract law and legal principles.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
