Cameroon Mining is a leading company in the mining industry, with operations across Africa. We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our team and lead our sales efforts in the region.
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
• Developing and executing sales strategies and plans to achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals
• Managing and growing existing accounts and acquiring new customers across various sectors and markets
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers in the mining industry
• Providing technical and commercial support and guidance to customers and prospects on our products and services
• Conducting market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and trends
• Collaborating with internal teams, such as marketing, engineering, and operations, to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
• Reporting and presenting sales performance and forecasts to senior management
To be successful in this role, you should have:
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years of proven experience as a sales manager or a similar role in the mining industry
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Strong knowledge of the mining industry, its challenges, and opportunities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel frequently to various mining sites and locations
