Position: UI/UX Designer
Reporting to: Chief Technology Officer

Location: Douala

Tranzak Cameroon is a FinTech start-up, providing top-notch solutions to individuals, small businesses, and merchants.

Job Purpose: We are looking for a talented Web Designer to create amazing user experiences. The
ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful web design. They should also have superior user interface design skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Implement all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
• Conceptualize original product design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to
complex roadblocks
• Create wire-frames, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas
• Collaborate with Front-end developers to convert product design into code
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
Education, Qualifications and Experience Requirements
• Proven work experience as a UI Designer
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
• Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for rapid prototyping is a plus
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plus
