Job Purpose:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\uf0d8 Achieve compliance with Basel III<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\uf0d8 Develop and implement an Enterprise Risk Management Framework for the Bank<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\uf0d8 Review, test and improve all risk policies and procedures <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\uf0d8 Monitor and enforce compliance with risk management principles and policies<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\uf0d8 Maintain and ensure consistency of dialogue between the bank, external\/ internal auditors and the Central Bank <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\uf0d8 Keep abreast regulatory policies as they relate to the bank\u2019s policies, procedures and standards<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\uf0d8 Motivates and organize team in compliance to ERM framework and foster a risk awareness culture in the organisation <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\uf0d8 Participate in industry and other professional networks to ensure awareness of best practices and standards<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\uf0d8 Assist Senior Management to formulate and communicate the Bank\u2019s ERM objectives and direction <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\uf0d8 Co-ordinate the effective delivery of appropriate training programs to the Bank staff<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\uf0d8 Establish risk strategies to achieve key portfolio performance metrics in growth, loss and profitability; <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Job Principal Accountabilities (Key Tasks and Additional Activities) <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\uf0d8 Assistance and guidance in the development of Target Market and Risk Acceptance Criteria <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\uf0d8 The review and recommendation for approval of product programs <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\uf0d8 The formulation and implementation of appropriate: credit, Information Security; Legal Regulatory compliance; reputational strategic; operational and market risk policies<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\uf0d8 Establishment of structures for the effective management of risk across the bank<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\uf0d8 Co-ordination and delivery of effective risk training across the bank <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\uf0d8 Effective identification of risks in the bank\u2019s products and processes <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\uf0d8 Restricting credit, operational and market risks within acceptable thresholds <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\uf0d8 Proactive environmental scanning and early identification of key risks <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Competencies\/ Skills: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\uf0d8 Master\u2019s degree in finance, accounting, law, business management, or related field <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\uf0d8 Five years\u2019 exposure in banking or auditing. A professional certification in Risk Management will be an added advantage <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\uf0d8 Have a thorough knowledge of local and regional banking regulations <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\uf0d8 Excellent written and oral communication as well as organization. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\uf0d8 Ability to work under pressure in a competitive environment<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\uf0d8 Result oriented attitude, independent and unsupervised <\/p>\n\n\n\n
