Purpose<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Nascent seeks research teams to investigate the current demographics, knowledge, attitudes, and practices among people who could benefit from improved services in the health, primary education, agriculture, and humanitarian sectors. These research findings will assist Nascent to better serve its clients, beneficiaries, and partners.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Profile of Research Team<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Researchers are welcome to assemble a team as they see fit. Their skills should be complementary, with one identified as the Team Lead, who will bear responsibility for all work products and processes. Companies or groups of independent consultants are welcome to apply. Combined, the team should have the following skills and attributes:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Cameroon-based researchers only.<\/p>\n
Demonstrated experience leading complex research.<\/p>\n
Demonstrated expertise in study design and sampling.<\/p>\n
Demonstrated experience in the development of quantitative data collection tools and managing field data collection (including mobile).<\/p>\n
Demonstrated experience in using qualitative methods such as focus group discussions and key informant interviews.<\/p>\n
Demonstrated experience in data management and analysis using statistical software, including analyzing complex (multi-stage cluster samples) surveys.<\/p>\n
Demonstrated experience in concise, illuminating report writing, including data visualization.<\/p>\n
Demonstrated experience in training and managing field data collectors and complex logistics.<\/p>\n
Subject matter expertise in the health sector.<\/p>\n
Subject matter expertise in primary education.<\/p>\n
Subject matter expertise in the agriculture sector.<\/p>\n
Subject matter expertise in the humanitarian sector.<\/p>\n
Strong teamwork ability across cultures and time zones.<\/p>\n
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders, ranging from young students to government officials.<\/p>\n
High proficiency in written and verbal French and English.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n
Organizational\/team capacity statement outlining relevant experience and ability to perform the research with methodological rigor. This should be a maximum of 5 pages.<\/p>\n
CV of each proposed researcher with his\/her role clearly identified. Each CV should be a maximum of 4 pages.<\/p>\n
