Duties and responsibilities<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Responsible for pedagogical planning, development, implementation and follow-up of the project as agreed in the overall plan; Design and conduct assessments in collaboration with relevant Sector Technical leads (CC leads) ; Assess needs for capacity building among staff, partners, teaching staff (beneficiaries) and discuss actions with the Area Manager (AM) ; Design training programs based on needs assessments; Participate in defining a monitoring and evaluation strategy; In coordination with the M&E, monitor and follow-up on quality of services provided by NRC in the field. Make recommendations for improvement; Compile and up-date information in the field on internal and external factors impacting the project results, and prepare monthly reports; Participate in proposal writing for the follow up phase of the project; Represent NRC in relevant meetings and coordinate and liaise with relevant authorities at field level under the delegation of the AM; In collaboration with the AM and the Head of Operations (HoO)\/Head of Programme (HoP), support all programs activities implementation; Organise coordination meetings with government and other key stakeholders; Coordinate with other sector leads for smooth project implementation; Lead on project coordination with the team; Ensure the proper filing of all project documents according to the internal procedure; Lead on GFFO project Grant Review Meetings, project’s quarterly, semester, annual reporting, any potential project revision and the Grant closure meeting; Alert AM and \/HoP on any significant development, delay, anticipated over\/under expenditures in the GFFO project.<\/p>\n

Qualifications<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
At least 4 years of relevant experience in a related field; Experience of program and project management in humanitarian\/recovery context; Experience working in complex\/ insecure environments and with displaced populations; Good understanding of donor rules and regulations; Proven skills and experience in managing multi-sector projects Good personal organizational skills, including time management, and ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure; Staff capacity-building experience; Willingness to travel to the field and work in difficult environment according to travel requirements. Fluency in French and English, both written and verbal.<\/p>\n
