ROLE PURPOSE<\/p>\n

To ensure effective and efficient execution of procurement, contract, hotel booking process, fixed asset follow-up and office related activities towards implementation of the country\u2019s program.<\/p>\n

DIMENSIONS OF THE ROLE<\/p>\n

Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the Janitor will have to perform the below main activities:
\nCleaning tasks<\/p>\n

Ensure the cleaning Office yard according to a cleaning calendar established;
\nEnsure the cleaning of office premises, toilette and kitchen;
\nEnsure availability of specific materials used in the toilet rooms, kitchen and offices (toilet paper, handwashing soap,…etc)
\nIdentify and request all the materials that are necessary for cleaning;<\/p>\n

Administration tasks<\/p>\n

Ensure messenger services;
\nAssist the Administrative assistant in the management of the store (phase in and phase out of items from the store);
\nEnsure the payment of various bills (CAMWATER, Phone, ENEO);
\nEnrolment of requisitions and bills in the register and files;
\nEnsure personal working time sheets are available and filled at the end of each month;
\nAny other tasks assigned by the supervisor.<\/p>\n

\nRefers all final decision making to the supervisor.

\n1.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Ensures that Plan International\u2019s global policies for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Gender Equality and Inclusion are fully embedded in accordance with the principles and requirements of the policy including relevant Implementation Standards and Guidelines as applicable to their area of responsibility. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring staff and associates are aware of and understand their responsibilities under these policies and Plan International\u2019s Code of Conduct (CoC), their relevance to their area of work, and that concerns are reported and managed in accordance with the appropriate procedures.<\/p>\n

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE<\/p>\n

Qualification and Experience
\nGCE \u2018\u2018O \u2019’ level or BEPC
\nMinimum 1- 2 years working experience in similar position,
\nExperience in the NGO sector preferably with Child-related development issues is an asset.<\/p>\n

Low contact- the job responsibilities of this position does not require the post holder to have any one-to-one contact with children on a daily basis. There would be occasional contact with children and it is expected that children shall be protected at all times.<\/p>\n
