This role can be based in any of the IRC offices in West, Central, and East Africa.<\/p>\n
Fluency in French and English is required.<\/p>\n

Job Overview\/Summary: The Compensation Associate will work as a member of the Global Compensation and Benefits team to assist in the administration of the IRC global compensation programs in more than 40 countries in which the IRC operates. The Compensation Associate will work closely with the compensation team to implement and manage strategic compensation solutions that aid in attracting, retaining and rewarding staff.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Major Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u2022 Assist in updating salary structures, annual salary planning processes, and benchmarking requests<\/p>\n
\u2022 Submit data for salary surveys\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u2022 Maintain compensation scorecards and other metrics\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u2022 Provide compensation analysis and data management support for job evaluations, equity reviews, new government-mandated changes in compliance with labor laws and IRC Guidelines<\/p>\n
\u2022 Proactively identifies issues and recommends actions to address. Make recommendations to improve compensation processes and workflow to increase department\u2019s efficiency and effectiveness.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u2022 Support compensation trainings, employee communications, managerial guides and, various presentations<\/p>\n
\u2022 Contribute to HRIS (Workday) projects\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u2022 Provide assistance in local country benefits projects<\/p>\n
\u2022 Provide support to employees on international assignments\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u2022 Process vendor invoices<\/p>\n
\u2022 Keep information on company intranet up-to-date\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u2022 Perform other compensation related duties, as assigned<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Key Working Relationships:<\/p>\n
Position Reports to: Senior Compensation Specialist<\/p>\n
Position Directly Supervises: None<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Other Internal and\/or external contacts:\u00a0<\/p>\n
Internal: Work closely with recruitment team and HRPs on handling new hires\/transfers issues. This position will provide support to the Compensation and Benefits team<\/p>\n
External: Support the team with external vendors and data providers<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Job Requirements:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u2022 Bachelor’s Degree required \u2013 Human Resources related degrees preferred<\/p>\n
\u2022 Minimum of 2 years of experience in Compensation required<\/p>\n
\u2022 Additional experience administering international assignments a plus<\/p>\n
\u2022 Prior experience utilizing analytical skills, including demonstrated data analysis and interpretation skills<\/p>\n
\u2022 Strong interpersonal skills – customer service focus a must<\/p>\n
\u2022 Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be comfortable dealing with employees and management at all levels of the organization<\/p>\n
\u2022 Intermediate Excel skills\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u2022 Experience with managing multiple priorities concurrently in a fast-paced environment<\/p>\n
\u2022 Fluency in French and English required<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
