JOB PURPOSE \/MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES: TECHNICAL SKILLS\/COMPETENCIES<\/p>\n

The IT Manage will be required to provide an eftective and efficient support services to IT users in order to drive the business.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The incumbent shall be responsible for the day to day setup and maintenance of the IT and IT telated systems i.e.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Windows Server, desktop, mobile phones, Printer, Backups, VPN, wireless, network and PABX (Astersik).<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES<\/p>\n

\u2022Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Manage annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness installing and confiquring computet\/network hardware, operating<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n
* Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
*Providing staff with effective support within stipulated timelines. either in person or remotely.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Troubleshooting system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware\/software, and wireless communication faults.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u2022Effective management and coordination of ICT vendors, suppliers and partners, Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a tault or configure a system.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
*Deployment and roll-out of new applications, including ERP.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u2022 Design, develop and implement companywide BMS system in partnership with external vendor.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u2022 Train and upskill staff on the use of the BMS system.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u2022 Setup reporting requirements on the BMS system.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u2022 Act as ERP administrator. . Creation of new users’ accounts and profiles and dealing with password and authentication issues.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
* Adherence to escalation procedures (senior team members or vendors for resolution)<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u2022 Prioritising and managing multiple open cases at any given time.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u2022 Testing and evaluating new technologies and providing recommendations to Line Manager.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u2022 Training and documentation for staff and IT Team where applicable<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u2022 Availability after hours it and when required.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Manage windows Server domains (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, File-shares, Backups etc)<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u2022 Windows Server and Desktop Maintenance, Installation and Repair<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u2022 Trend officescan Antivirus administration.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u2022 Remote (Teamviewer, Remote Desktop, Anydesk) and local user support<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u2022 Firewall (Sonicwall) Configuration and maintenance, License Management * Email Management and configuration (Google Mail)<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u2022 Access control system Confiquration, manaqement and backup (IPX System)<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u2022 PABX and Telephone system Configuration and Management<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u2022 License Management (Google, Sonicwali, Printers, Web and Domain hosting, Antivirus etc.)<\/p>\n

\u2022IT Stock\/Asset Management (Laptops, Monitors, Servers etc.) across all reqions<\/p>\n

\u2022 Mobile Phone Management (Vodacom). . Printer Confiquration and contract management.<\/p>\n

*Basic office management and correspondence with the building management<\/p>\n
