Union Bank of Cameroon Plc is presently in search of an Operations Information System Developer for a 06 months professional internship in its head office, Douala Cameroon.<\/p>\n
Opportunity is open external candidates.<\/p>\n
Main Mission To efficiently automate the UBC account opening and maintenance process within a duration of six (06) months.<\/p>\n
Design, develop and deploy an integrated web-based solution under the direct supervision and guidelines of the Manager,<\/p>\n
Operations Verification. Reporting line: Manager,<\/p>\n
Operations Verification Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
V Develop and implement software application to manage<\/p>\n
Account Opening \/Maintenance process.<\/p>\n
V Analyze challenges with AML implementation and put in place a process for total adherence and monitoring.<\/p>\n
V Review bank’s entire database of account opening, proposing corrective measures or solutions. Putting a robust process for monitoring revenue collection in CAPU as per our general banking condition (These revenues include: – account closure charges, change of mandate etc).<\/p>\n
V Train in house users on all applications developed to manage CAPU activities.<\/p>\n
Monitor and follow up of all clients request for account opening, closure, updates etc is done within stipulated time frame.<\/p>\n
V Promote effective communication between CAPU and other branches\/units of the bank. V Propose solutions for electronic archives of account opening documentations.<\/p>\n
V Perform all duties associated with opening\/closing of accounts.<\/p>\n
V Handle any other duties as assigned by management. Key Requirements:<\/p>\n
V Good analytical skills.<\/p>\n
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, software engineering, project management or any related field V Good knowledge and interest in computer systems and the latest technologie<\/p>\n
V Good knowledge in algorithm and programming languages such as PHP, HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, SQL, XML, JSON Good knowledge on database management such as Oracle and SQL Server.<\/p>\n
V Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.<\/p>\n
Team player V Ability to work under pressure to meet with deadlines.<\/p>\n
V Mastery of the English and French Languages v Good moral and integrity.<\/p>\n
V Skilled in web-based software development, project management and process automation.<\/p>\n
