Job Summary<\/h2>\n

We are seeking a proactive, organized, and technically skilled IT Assistant<\/strong> to support both the company’s business development activities and internal IT operations. This hybrid role combines 60% Marketing Assistant responsibilities<\/strong> with 40% IT support functions<\/strong>. The successful candidate will help generate new business opportunities, maintain strong client relationships, promote the company’s digital services, and provide first-level technical support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n

Marketing & Business Development (60%)<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Identify and research potential clients through market research, online platforms, networking, and business directories.<\/li>\n
  • Prospect new customers through phone calls, emails, social media, and other communication channels.<\/li>\n
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings with prospective clients to discuss their business needs.<\/li>\n
  • Prepare service proposals, quotations, presentations, and follow up on sales opportunities.<\/li>\n
  • Maintain and update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database with accurate client information and sales activities.<\/li>\n
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.<\/li>\n
  • Collect customer feedback and recommend improvements to products and services.<\/li>\n
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities.<\/li>\n
  • Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and promotional activities.<\/li>\n
  • Assist in achieving the company’s sales and business development objectives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    IT Support & Technical Assistance (40%)<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.<\/li>\n
    • Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.<\/li>\n
    • Assist with user account management, password resets, software installation, and system updates.<\/li>\n
    • Perform routine data backups and support basic cybersecurity practices.<\/li>\n
    • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and assist with maintaining IT infrastructure.<\/li>\n
    • Maintain IT asset inventory, technical documentation, and equipment records.<\/li>\n
    • Support employees with day-to-day IT requests and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.<\/li>\n
    • Escalate complex technical problems to senior IT personnel when necessary.<\/li>\n
    • Ensure IT equipment is functioning efficiently and report maintenance needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Key Qualifications<\/h2>\n
        \n
      • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (BSc\/HND\/Licence)<\/strong> in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering<\/strong>, or a related field.<\/li>\n
      • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience<\/strong> in IT support, technical assistance, sales, marketing, business development, or a similar hybrid role.<\/li>\n
      • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software installation, networking, and troubleshooting.<\/li>\n
      • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems is an advantage.<\/li>\n
      • Good understanding of digital marketing, customer engagement, and lead generation techniques.<\/li>\n
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<\/li>\n
      • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n
      • Good organizational and time management abilities.<\/li>\n
      • Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.<\/li>\n
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n
      • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing business and technical needs.<\/li>\n
      • Bilingual (English and French) is an added advantage.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
