Role Summary<br>The Graphic Designer will work closely with the<br>Communications and Operations teams to produce compelling visual content that supports the organisation&rsquo;s mission, campaigns, and online presence. The ideal candidate has some experience in basic graphic design and a passion for using visual storytelling to drive impact. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute creatively while growing your design skills in a purpose-driven environment.<br>2. Key Responsibilities<br>A. Visual Content Creation<br>\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0 Design graphics for social media posts, banners, flyers, and campaign materials that align with the organisation&rsquo;s brand and voice.<br>\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0 Create visually appealing templates for recurring content (e.g., announcements, event promotions, newsletters).<br>\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0 Develop infographics, presentations, and other visual assets to support programmes and reports.<br>\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0 Edit and resize designs for various platforms and formats as needed.<br>B. Brand Consistency<br>\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0 Ensure all designs adhere to the organisation&rsquo;s visual identity guidelines (colours, fonts, logo usage, tone).<br>\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0 Maintain a library of design assets, templates, and approved visuals for team use.<br>\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0 Work collaboratively with content creators and the COO to ensure visual and written content are aligned.<br>C. Collaboration &amp; Communication<br>\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0 Attend virtual team meetings and design briefs to understand project needs and timelines.<br>\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0 Receive and incorporate feedback professionally and in a timely manner.<br>\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0 Communicate proactively about progress, ideas, and any challenges encountered.<br>D. Creative Support<br>\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0 Contribute creative ideas and suggestions to improve the organisation&rsquo;s visual communication strategy.<br>\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0 Assist in the design of special campaign materials during key events or awareness periods.<br>\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0 Support other team members with design needs on an ad hoc basis.<br>3. While formal qualifications are not required, the following will be important:<br>\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0 Some experience in basic graphic design whether through personal projects, school, freelance work, or self-learning.<br>\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0 Familiarity with design tools such as Canva, Adobe<br>Express, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar platforms.<br>\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0 A good eye for layout, colour, and typography.<br>\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0 Ability to work independently and manage creative tasks within given timelines.<br>\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0 Openness to feedback and willingness to revise work as<br>\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0 Good communication skills and a collaborative spirit.<br>\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0 Reliable internet access and ability to work in a fully virtual environment.<br>4.
