Project Implementation<br>\u2022 Supervise the implementation of the HGSF project in the Adamaoua or East\/Centre regions in<br>accordance with the approved proposal, donor agreement, and AIRD policies and procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Ensure project activities are implemented on time, within the defined scope, and according to<br>agreed work plans and quality standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Coordinate with schools, local authorities, community structures, and other stakeholders involved<br>in school feeding activities.<br>\u2022 Ensure smooth coordination of food delivery, storage, and distribution in participating schools.<br>\u2022 Supervise one or two field supervisors and define\/monitor their weekly and monthly work plans.<br>2. Monitoring and Reporting<br>\u2022 Supervise the design and use of MEAL tools with the MEAL team and field supervisors.<br>\u2022 Review and validate the MEAL plans of field supervisors.<br>\u2022 Work closely with the MEAL Officer and field supervisors to develop and implement monitoring<br>tools to track project progress, results, and impact.<br>\u2022 Conduct monthly monitoring visits of school feeding activities to ensure compliance with project<br>guidelines and donor standards.<br>\u2022 Prepare and submit, in collaboration with field supervisors and the MEAL Officer, accurate and<br>timely reports (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) in line with donor requirements.<br>3. Coordination and Stakeholder Engagement<br>\u2022 Maintain strong working relationships with local authorities, school management committees,<br>community leaders, and partner organizations in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Represent AIRD in relevant coordination meetings related to school feeding activities.<br>\u2022 Ensure effective collaboration with AIRD departments (Finance, Logistics, Programmes, and MEAL)<br>to support smooth project implementation.<br>4. Planning and Resource Management<br>\u2022 Support the development and updating of project work plans and activity schedules.<br>\u2022 Ensure efficient use of project resources in line with approved budgets and donor requirements.<br>\u2022 Identify potential risks affecting project implementation and propose mitigation measures.<br>5. Other Responsibilities<br>\u2022 Support, in collaboration with local technical authorities, capacity-building of school authorities and<br>community members involved in school feeding activities.<br>\u2022 Perform any other tasks assigned by the Project Coordinator or AIRD management.<br>Key Competencies<br>\u2022 Commitment to AIRD\u2019s mission, values, and Code of Conduct<br>\u2022 High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism<br>\u2022 Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills<br>\u2022 Ability to work effectively in multicultural environments<br>\u2022 Good planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills<br>\u2022 Strong communication and reporting skills<br><strong>Qualifications and Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 University degree in Education, Agriculture, Nutrition, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a<br>related field.<br>\u2022 Minimum 3\u20134 years of relevant experience in project implementation, preferably in Home-Grown<br>School Feeding, food security, or education programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Experience with NGOs, humanitarian organizations, or donor-funded projects is an asset.<br>\u2022 Fluency in French and English (written and spoken) required.<br>\u2022 Strong organizational, coordination, and reporting skills.<br>\u2022 Ability to work in remote or field environments.<br>\u2022 Good knowledge of the Adamaoua and East\/Centre regions is an advantage.<br>Protection and Compliance<br>AIRD is committed to safeguarding the communities it serves, its staff, partners, and volunteers.
