{"id":57071,"date":"2026-02-25T11:40:33","date_gmt":"2026-02-25T10:40:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/louma-jobs.com\/cameroun\/?post_type=emplois&#038;p=57071"},"modified":"2026-02-25T11:40:35","modified_gmt":"2026-02-25T10:40:35","slug":"protection-data-management-officer","status":"publish","type":"emplois","link":"https:\/\/louma-jobs.com\/cameroun\/recrutements-emplois-stages\/2026\/protection-data-management-officer\/","title":{"rendered":"PROTECTION DATA MANAGEMENT OFFICER"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Reports to: MEAL Manager<br>Duty station: Bamenda<br>Type of contract: Fixed Term<br>Availability: 15 March 2026<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Main objective and tasks<br>The Protection Data Management Officer is responsible for monitoring and reporting on the project\u2019s performance, under the supervision of the Program Coordinator (PC), and the collaboration of the Project Manager (PM). S\/he prepares the project\u2019s monitoring plan, ensures that all the indicator data is captured according to the proper methodology, archived and reported consistently across the different reporting templates. S\/he will train the project team to the proper use and reporting of the different data collection template s\/he will develop with the support of the PM and the PC<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>1. Project Performance tools elaboration<br>&#8211; Develops the project monitoring plan, which clearly defines the indicators\u2019 disaggregation and calculation methods, collection and reporting frequencies in accordance with the project logframe, workplan and the donor performance evaluation tools<br>&#8211; Ensures the tools and forms for the production of harmonized sources of verification are validated, available, properly used and archived, both physically and electronically.<br>&#8211; Discusses with the activity officers their needs, constraints and issues on the use of the current data collection tools, and proposes improvement and optimizations on the processes, tools and deadlines<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>2. Staff training and empowerment<br>&#8211; Briefs the project staff on the project indicators, collection and calculation methods, frequencies and templates.<br>&#8211; With the support of the project manager, trains the teams on the reporting templates<br>&#8211; Identifies the technical gaps in data collection, validation and archiving and in conjunction with the Project Manager, develops a training curriculum to address the relevant issues.<br>&#8211; Relays the issues raised by the project teams related to the use of the reporting or monitoring tools to the project manager and Programs coordinator<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>3. Data management<br>&#8211; Coordinates Data collection and analysis, including documentation, and reporting to ensure accountability to donor and the organization.<br>&#8211; Sets-up tools for data collection for surveys,<br>&#8211; Builds and maintains the project\u2019s Information databases: geographical, beneficiaries and documents<br>&#8211; Ensures the quality of the data collected is properly processed before submission to the Project Manager and Program coordinator<br>&#8211; Ensures program filing system is in place, adheres to internal and donor regulation and filing is regularly maintained<br>&#8211; Ensures that the proper report templates are available and distributed among the team<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>5. Reporting<br>&#8211; Prepares and shares a weekly performance report (planning vs achievement)<br>&#8211; Counterchecks the integrity, consistence and coherence of the performance data reported in each of the project reports templates and raises any issue to the Project Manager<br>&#8211; In conjunction with the project manager and the activity officers, coordinate the collection of the most significant changes generated by the project (testimonials and case studies) and success stories and ensure monthly reporting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>7.
