{"id":57065,"date":"2026-02-25T10:42:31","date_gmt":"2026-02-25T09:42:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/louma-jobs.com\/cameroun\/?post_type=emplois&#038;p=57065"},"modified":"2026-02-25T10:42:34","modified_gmt":"2026-02-25T09:42:34","slug":"02-psycho-social-support-team-leaderpss-tl","status":"publish","type":"emplois","link":"https:\/\/louma-jobs.com\/cameroun\/recrutements-emplois-stages\/2026\/02-psycho-social-support-team-leaderpss-tl\/","title":{"rendered":"02 PSYCHO-SOCIAL SUPPORT TEAM LEADER(PSS TL)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Reports to: Project Manager<br>Duty station: North-west and South-west<br>Type of contract: Fixed Term<br>Availability: 15 March 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Main objective and Tasks<br>Under the direct supervision of the Protection Activity Manager and the technical supervision of the Program Protection Technical Referent the PSS Team Leader will be primarily responsible for ensuring the overall implementation of activities to address mental health and psychosocial needs while meeting quality standards. The PSS Team Leader will directly supervise the day-to-day work of the PSS Workers \/ Social Workers and Psychologists working in their district(s). They will also provide weekly\/monthly reports to the PAM and PPTR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Generic Duties:<br>\u2022 Direct supervision of Social Workers and Psychologists;<br>\u2022 Conduct an initial assessment with new Social Workers; prepare &amp; implement a tailored induction plan including shadowing, observing and conducting role plays;<br>\u2022 Ensure adherence of social Workers and Psychologists to protection principles, code of conducts and internal SOPs;<br>\u2022 Provide weekly and monthly updates to the PAM and PPTR on MHPSS activities in the NWSW.<br>\u2022 Conduct weekly case conferences to help Psychologists and PSS workers handle critical and difficult cases.<br>\u2022 Review the work of the Psychologists and Social workers to ensure that the PSS needs of the community are addressed through our intervention<br>\u2022 Ensure Community Based PSS is delivered according to internal MHPSS guidelines.<br>\u2022 Monitor timescales for response, decision-making and follow-up through the internal MHPSS Platform with support from the PAM and Protection Data Management Officer;<br>\u2022 Identify staff gaps and training needs when they arise and communicate them to the Program Protection Technical Referent for his action;<br>\u2022 Ensure weekly activity plans are created and clearly displayed in PSS activity locations;<br>\u2022 Ensure the Referral Database is updated on a weekly basis and submitted to the PAM and Protection Project Referent;<br>\u2022 Manage all requests for information\/intervention from the PAM;<br>\u2022 Ensure dissemination of clear and reliable information on service provision and other pre-selected key topics;<br>\u2022 Submit weekly and monthly activity plans, reports and recommendations;<br>\u2022 Represent the organization at general coordination working groups and clusters with donors, humanitarian actors and local authorities, when requested;<br>\u2022 Carry out all tasks respecting key protection principles including but not limited to: PSEA, do no harm, non-discrimination, confidentiality, accountability and need-to-know principles;<br>\u2022 Any other tasks assigned by the Protection Coordinator. \/ Programme coordinator<br>Specific Duties<br>\u2022 Plan and design the Community Based PSS activities in collaboration with the PAM, the Program Protection Technical Referent and all the team members, accordingly to INTERSOS guidelines on PSS activities;<br>\u2022 Ensure PSS workers have the appropriate resources necessary for conducting group activities<br>\u2022 Ensure all Community spaces &#8211; WGFSGBV are designed as per internal and international guidelines and collaborate with CBPO in the establishment of the same<br>\u2022 Ensure that the Guidance and advice provided by the Protection Coordinator and Program Protection Technical Referent are followed by the team and provide feedback to them<br>\u2022 Ensure that the PSS needs of the community are properly assessed, mapped and analyzed and work with the Program Protection Technical Referent and Project activity Manager to fine tune our intervention to address the needs<br>\u2022 Ensure all tools for assessment and measuring impact are used properly by the team<br>\u2022 Ensure the MHPSS Platform is updated on an ongoing basis; review entries and highlight any discrepancies to the Program Protection Technical Referent or PAM;<br>\u2022 Ensure the Referral Database is updated on a weekly basis and submitted to the PAM\/ Program Protection Technical Referent<br>\u2022 Ensure proper storage of sensitive data through a correct use of internal databases;<br>\u2022 Assist Project Activity Manager in the planning and facilitation of the induction process for all newly recruited Social Workers and Psychologists on protection principles, the case management process, the relevant SOPs and the data filing and storing procedures (and other relevant topics);<br>\u2022 Assist the Protection Project Referent in planning and delivering capacity building trainings for Social Workers and Psychologists;<br>\u2022 Receive external and internal referrals in line with set criteria and allocate them amongst Psychologists\/ Social workers; ensure that referring agencies receive timely feedback on actions taken, when necessary and appropriate in light of confidentiality requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Educational and Professional experience required<br>\u2022 A minimum of Bachelor degree in Psychology, Counselling, or related fields<br>\u2022 Should have a Minimum of 3 years of Experience as Psychologist or MHPSS related role with an NGO\/INGO in the context of NW and SW.<br>\u2022 Good understanding of MHPSS procedures and principles<br>\u2022 Previous experience in managing staff\/Team will be an asset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Technical and behavioral competencies required<br>\u2022 Experienced in Workshop and capacity building facilitation<br>\u2022 Previous experience in cluster activities.<br>\u2022 Flexible and ready to multitask and adhere to instructions.<br>\u2022 Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work and integrate in a multicultural team.<br>\u2022 Strong organizational skills and ability to manage efficiently multiple priorities, deadlines and tasks.<br>\u2022 Solid time-management skills, resourcefulness and attention to details.<br>\u2022 Flexibility and adaptability;
