Contribute to the design of methodology and analysis and liaise directly with affected communities.<br>S\/he identifies individuals at risk through household level assessments or individual interviews and provides them with orientation on available services or refers those with specific protection concerns as required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Tasks :<br>\u2022 Conduct protection monitoring activities at household and community level using different quantitative and qualitative tools<br>\u2022 Identify key informants in the community to involve in regular protection monitoring activities through semi-structured or unstructured interviews (KIIs)<br>\u2022 Facilitate Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) amongst community members on selected topics to better understand the causes and consequences of identified risks<br>\u2022 Monitor and report protection concern and trends, new population displacements and movements in the areas of operations<br>\u2022 Report to the Protection Monitor Team Leader any serious protection incidents or immediate protection concern identified within target communities<br>\u2022 Identify individual cases with protection concerns during data collection for referral to internal services or specialized agencies<br>\u2022 Verify collected information on protection risks as well as availability and access to services through direct observation of the area<br>\u2022 Support the Protection Monitor Team Leader in reporting qualitative and quantitative data and information<br>\u2022 Map main service providers in the area of intervention and identify and report gaps in the availability of services and quality of service provision<br>\u2022 Carry out all tasks respecting key protection principles including but not limited to: do no harm, non-discrimination, confidentiality, accountability and need-to-know principles<br>\u2022 Support sensitization, information dissemination and awareness raising activities.<br>Educational and professional experience required<br>\u2022 University degree in a related field e.g. social sciences or equivalent is an asset<br>\u2022 Training in humanitarian protection thematics such as community-based protection, survival centered-case management, PSEA, GBV and Child protection will be an asset.<br>Technical and behavioral competencies required<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Work Experience:<br>\u2022 Minimum of 1 year of experience in a humanitarian context, in an association, NGO or INGO, with at least 1 year of field work experience in the NW or SW regions during the context of crisis<br>\u2022 One year of relevant working experience in the protection sector<br>\u2022 Previous working experience with IDPs, refugees and returnees<br>\u2022 Strong knowledge of international protection in the humanitarian context<br>\u2022 Strong knowledge in other protection areas (i.e. case management, psychosocial support activities etc.)<br>\u2022 Experience working and \/ or collaborating on a UNCHR project would be an asset.<br>\u2022 Leadership, planning and organizational skills<br>\u2022 Respect and non-discriminatory attitude<br>\u2022 Teamwork and communication skills<br>\u2022 Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>IT: Advanced Knowledge of<br>\u2022 Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, outlook),<br>\u2022 Mainstream web browsers (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox)<br>\u2022 Web-based mainstream chat and conferencing tools\/platforms (Skype, Teams, Zoom and WebEx)<br>\u2022 Web 2.0 tools (cloud storage, webmail and others)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Languages<br>\u2022 Fluency in both written and oral formal English<br>\u2022 Strong redactional and reporting skills<br>\u2022 Fluency in Pidgin English<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>HOW TO APPLY ?&nbsp;<\/strong><br>Send your CV and Cover letter by following this link:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/QtA4JgbsdJTFzsWQ7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/forms.gle\/QtA4JgbsdJTFzsWQ7<\/a>&nbsp;<br>Only CVs and Cover letters sent through the link mentioned will be received.<br>NB: Only Shortlisted candidates will be invited for the written and technical tests.<br>Please apply no later than February 26, 2026, at 5 PM<br><em>HR-Department &#8211;
