{"id":57057,"date":"2026-02-25T09:48:07","date_gmt":"2026-02-25T08:48:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/louma-jobs.com\/cameroun\/?post_type=emplois&#038;p=57057"},"modified":"2026-02-25T09:48:19","modified_gmt":"2026-02-25T08:48:19","slug":"16-case-workers","status":"publish","type":"emplois","link":"https:\/\/louma-jobs.com\/cameroun\/recrutements-emplois-stages\/2026\/16-case-workers\/","title":{"rendered":"16 CASE WORKERS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Reports to: Case Worker Team Leader<br>Duty station Ako\/ Kambe\/ Fomtem\/ Alu \/ Mamf\u00e9\/ Bachuo-akagbe<br>Type of contract Fixed Term<br>Availability: 15 March 2026<br>Main objective and tasks<br>Provide appropriate and timely case management by assessing the needs of individuals with protection concerns, developing and implementing tailored case plans based on needs and ensuring appropriate follow-up while creating a climate of trust and care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Tasks:<br>\u2022 Conduct intake interviews with individuals identified by the team during outreach work or referred by other agencies, and open a case if vulnerability criteria are met<br>\u2022 Carry out comprehensive assessments for each client after receiving their consent and consider emotional, behavioural and social factors that affect their psychosocial well-being as well as protection and risk factors<br>\u2022 Conduct home visits to assess clients\u2019 living conditions when necessary<br>\u2022 Develop a tailored case plan with the client, based on needs identified during the assessment<br>\u2022 Refer clients to appropriate services and when necessary accompany them to different service providers<br>\u2022 Provide continuous basic emotional support and counselling through regular follow-up meetings, establishing a relationship built on trust respecting confidentiality protocols<br>\u2022 Document cases on the internal case management platform and ensure that any progress on action plan and any significant change in client\u2019s psychosocial well-being and overall situation is timely and duly recorded<br>\u2022 Ensure proper and safe filing and archiving of case management files to maintain data confidentiality<br>\u2022 Close cases when objectives in the case plan are met and no further needs are identified<br>\u2022 Carry out all tasks respecting key protection principles, including but not limited to: do no harm, non-discrimination, confidentiality, accountability and need-to-know principles<br>\u2022 Participate in internal case management meetings and bring to immediate attention any case of special\/emergency needs to the Case Worker Team Leader<br>\u2022 Ensure good relationships and coordination with the main service providers in the area of intervention to improve identification of persons with specific needs for prompt referral, follow up and information sharing<br>\u2022 Identify and report gaps in the availability and quality of services provision for clients in the target areas<br>\u2022 Educational and professional experience required<br>\u2022 University degree in a related field e.g. Social Work, Psychology or equivalent is an asset<br>\u2022 Training in humanitarian protection thematics such as community-based protection, survival centered-case management, PSEA, GBV and Child protection will be an asset<br>\u2022 Technical and behavioral competencies required<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Work Experience:<br>\u2022 Minimum of 2 years of experience in a humanitarian context, in an association, NGO or INGO, with at least 1 year of field work experience in the NW or SW regions during the context of crisis<br>\u2022 Proven work experience in social work in a similar context<br>\u2022 Experience working and \/ or collaborating on a UNCHR project would be an asset<br>\u2022 Respect and non-discriminatory attitude, empathy Team management experience of at least 1 year at similar level would be an asset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>IT: Advanced Knowledge of<br>\u2022 Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, outlook),<br>\u2022 Mainstream web browsers (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox)<br>\u2022 Web-based mainstream chat and conferencing tools\/platforms (Skype, Teams, Zoom and WebEx)<br>\u2022 Web 2.0 tools (cloud storage, webmail and others)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Languages<br>\u2022 Fluency in both written and oral formal English<br>\u2022 Strong redactional and reporting skills<br>\u2022 Fluency in Pidgin English<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>HOW TO APPLY ?&nbsp;<\/strong><br>Send your CV and Cover letter by following this link:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/xTjGVrfeynzF73hD7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/forms.gle\/xTjGVrfeynzF73hD7<\/a>&nbsp;<br>Only CVs and Cover letters sent through the link mentioned will be received.<br>NB: Only Shortlisted candidates will be invited for the written and technical tests.<br>Please apply no later than February 26, 2026, at 5 PM<br><em>HR-Department &#8211;
