Responsibilities
\nOPERATIONAL DELIVERY<\/p>\n
Operational Delivery <\/p>\n
Plan, design and lead the rollout of technologies and services related to business need.
\nMTNC IP\/MPLS & MPBN Network (Core \u2013 Edge \u2013 Access) to meet specified quality, business requirements within budget constraints.<\/p>\n
Plan, design and lead the rollout of Network Security services related to business need.
\nCoordinate and Lead security projects as per business requirements
\nDay to Day management of MTNC security nodes like firewalls , ISE , LB and Arbor
\nMTNC IP\/MPLS & MPBN Network (Core \u2013 Edge \u2013 Access) to meet specified quality, business requirements within budget constraints.
\nAn optimized MTNC Network Security that carries corporate business applications and enable end users to connect and use corporate services.
\nMTNC Data Center to meet specified quality, business requirements within budget constraints.
\nEnsure IP Network (Core \u2013 Edge \u2013 Access, Corporate) performance is above specified targets.
\nEnsure IP Network Security performance is above specified targets.
\nDefine the overall MTNC IP Planning strategy in line with overall MTN Group IP strategy, National IP management law and business requirements.
\nProvide high level support to operational team concerning IP\/MPLS and security nodes<\/p>\n
Capacity forecast for IP\/MPLS and Security Nodes in line with Business requirements and forecast.
\nTranslate business requirements into technology requirement and project.
\nProvide to Project team appropriate technical support for project rollout within time and budget.
\nDefine, plan and design Security strategy for IPv4 to IPv6 migration.
\nParticipate on defining a 3 – 5 years Integrated Network Planning in Security Nodes and Data Center
\nProvide SOW, CIR, BOQ documents for all projects being a Lead.
\nDefine IP\/MPLS related policies and processes in line with best practices, world standards and MTN Group IP\/MPLS strategy.
\nProvide training sessions to Operations team for knowledge transfer after completion of a project.
\nDefine specifications requirements for IP\/MPLS and security planning tools.
\nDefine specifications for IP\/MPLS and Security monitoring tools.
\nPlan and manage the implementation of IP\/MPLS and Network Security optimization projects.
\nBe the main point for any IP\/MPLS and Security requirement from other stake holder (Internal, MTN Group, Partners, etc)<\/p>\n
Interact with suppliers for getting optimal IP\/MPLS and Security related solutions and design in line with business requirements, policies and MTN group strategy.
\nReport on Security , IP\/MPLS Core, Access, Data Center performance KPIs.
\nDefine solution and actions to improve overall MTNC IP\/MPLS and Security Network, Corporate and Data Center performance.
\nProvide Support and directions as per management job assignment.
\nParticipate in Technical War-rooms for rapid critical resolution of Network Issues on the MTNC Network.<\/p>\n
Qualifications
\nEDUCATION<\/p>\n
Minimum of first degree in Computer Sciences, Telecommunications and Networking, or Information AND Communication Technology
\nFluent in English and French
\nWORK EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
At least 3 years\u2019 experience in implementing and designing IP\/MPLS Network and Security Nodes (Planning, Design or Operation) within a telecom environment.
\n3 years minimum experience in IP solutions design or implementation in a Telecoms environment integrating concepts of L2VPN, L3VPN, IPSec, VRF, MPLS, Security zone, QoS, High availability, etc. <\/p>\n
3 years minimum experience in Network security environment and nodes like Fortinet firewalls , Palo-Alto firewalls , Huawei firewalls , F5 Load balancers , Arbor anti-DDOS appliances, Cisco ISE , Cisco Taccas
\nAt least 2 years\u2019 experience in multi-services Data Center inter-networking design, implementing or operating.
\n.At least 3 years experience working in a telecom or telco environment managing and assuring IP\/MPLS QoS.
\nAt least 3 years\u2019 experience in Managing security Nodes like , Fortinet firewalls , Palo-Alto firewalls , Huawei firewalls , F5 Load balancers , Arbor anti-DDOS appliances, Cisco ISE , Cisco Taccas with adequate knowledge in the design and implementation of those solutions Concerning those nodes.
\nAt least 3 years\u2019 experience in designing or operating a multi-access (Wimax, WTTx, P2P, P2MP, LTE, 2G\/3G\/4G\/5G, etc.) and multi-services Data network.
\nAt least 3 years\u2019 experience on Data solutions technical requirements definition and project budgeting.
\nGood experience on IPV6 and SRv6 Technologies
\nExcellent Networking , Routing , subnetting and Security Protocols abilities.
\nGood experience on Data Centre architectures for Security Nodes
\nGood experience on Data Centre architectures for hosted services and collocations.
\nGood knowledge of GSM (2G\/3G\/4G\/5G) technology and architecture.
\nGood IP Technical background with good experience across the majority of the following areas: MPLS, Routing, Switching, Security, QoS
\nGood knowledge of IP security solutions related to providers like Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper, F5, Huawei, Checkpoint, Allot communications, etc
\nAbility to effectively use diagnostic tools is required

CCIE Certification and \/ or at least JNCIP certification are preferred. HCDP (carrier) or higher will be an advantage, NSE 7 Certification and \/ or at least NSE 4 certification are preferred.
\nPALO ALTO Certification and CCNA Security or higher will be an advantage
\nCisco SPCOR SPRI Certification will be of added advantage
\nKNOWLEDGE<\/p>\n
IP MPLS design, mainly traffic engineering, L2VPN, VPLS, MPLS signaling & HA
\nMPLS-enabled applications, Multicasting , Anycast etc.
\nNetwork IP peering protocols (eBGP, iBGP) and best practices.
\nWire technology (FE, GE, 10GE+, Optic Fiber, SFP, etc.) and wireless technology (WiFi, Wimax, WTTx, 2G, 3G, LTE,IMS, 5G etc.) architecture
\nRouting protocols (BGP, MPLS, ISIS, OSPF, IGRP, RIP, etc.) specifications and best practices
\nSwitching protocols (STP, VLAN, VxLAN , MTU, etc.)
\nIP QoS (DSCP, ToS)
\nTraffic engineering planning tools
\nIP packet analyzer (Wireshark, ethereal, etc.)
\nData Centers architectures and services
\nIP Network security best practices (Segmentation, Authentication, Encryption)
\nIP planning and subnetting (IPv4, IPv6)
\nIPv6 enable protocols (DNS64, NAT64, DHCP6, etc.)
\nNetwork performance methodology and tools.
\nIP Network vendor equipment\u2019s operation (Juniper, Cisco, Huawei, Fortinet, Extreme networks, Alcatel, etc).
\nJuniper and Huawei experience is an advantage.
