Role Summary
\nThis position is part of the Catalysing the Adoption of a Novel Vector Control Toolbox (CANVeCT) project, a multidisciplinary study in Cameroon designed to evaluate the effectiveness of spatial repellents (SRs) in reducing malaria transmission and influencing insecticide resistance, compared with dual-active ingredient long-lasting insecticidal nets (LLINs).
\nFunded by Unitaid, the project brings together epidemiology, entomology, mathematical modelling, social science, and health economics to generate robust evidence for the inclusion of SRs as a key tool for malaria control and elimination. The project is implemented in partnership with the National Malaria Control Programme (NMCP) and leading international institutions, including the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM) and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM).<\/p>\n
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
\nEssential<\/p>\n
Marter\u2019s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
\nProven experience in database management, data analysis, or monitoring & evaluation (M&E).
\nProficiency with data management tools\/software (e.g., RedCap, SurveyCTO, MS Excel, SQL, Access, DHIS2, Power BI).
\nUnderstanding of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR).
\nDesirable<\/p>\n
Experience working on research projects, NGOs, development programmes, or corporate data systems.
\nFamiliarity with statistical software (SPSS, R, Stata).
\nExperience using cloud-based storage and collaboration platforms.
