JOB PURPOSE<br \/>\nII. JOB CONTEXT<br \/>\nTo lead the Treasury sales unit in Cameroon and to achieve Country Product Sales Target.<br \/>\nTo implement the Group Sales Process and, tracking market and process inefficiencies.<br \/>\nTo develop procedures in the delivery and management of Sales capabilities in accordance with<br \/>\nGroup aspirations and strategic intent. This involves working closely with bank\u2019s business partners.<br \/>\nTo work with country business heads to develop the appropriate delivery mechanism to launch<br \/>\nTreasury products at country level.<br \/>\nTo drive Treasury Sales activities towards attainment of financial targets.<br \/>\nTo increase new products and initiatives in the market place with the objective of improving<br \/>\nprofitability.<br \/>\nTo conduct presentations to existing and potential customers in order to increase awareness of<br \/>\nthe Treasury products and to build business network.<br \/>\nTo launch and maintain an efficient cross sell campaign in order to leverage ECOBANK\u2019s products<br \/>\nand diversify product supply towards Treasury products.<br \/>\nTo build and maintain a high level of synergies with metrics partners (relationship managers, other<br \/>\nproduct peers, HR, FINANCEs, etc \u2026).<br \/>\nStrategic understanding of CEMAC Foreign exchange and money market. Business oriented with a<br \/>\nstrong focus on revenue targets. Should be fluent in English and French for easy interaction with<br \/>\ncustomers and group reports and interaction with all BU and support functions for an optimal<br \/>\nproduct delivery.<br \/>\nFunctions highly contributes to FICC cross sale within the bank with other BU and products. Strong<br \/>\nemphasis on customer satisfaction for a timely delivery of solutions for treasury sales related<br \/>\nissues.<br \/>\nTreasury Sales should have a year on year growth except exceptional market factions. The role<br \/>\nshould thrive to a perfect organization for an optimal performance within the revenue targets.<br \/>\nCUSTOMER MANAGEMENT<br \/>\nTo roll out and coordinate completion of In-Country Sales Process.<br \/>\nDevelop platform to build client relations and coordinate customer relationships and country<br \/>\nSales process.<br \/>\nTo establish and maintain regular contacts with customers and regulators.<br \/>\nIdentification of customer opportunities, both in-country and regionally.<br \/>\nJ<br \/>\nIII. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<br \/>\nIdentification of area as well as in-country competitive threats and market opportunities, to feed<br \/>\ninto overall sales strategy.<br \/>\nTo set up new revenue streams by exploring new market niches and selectively introducing new<br \/>\nproducts (Fixed Income, Money Market, Equities, Forwards, and Derivatives).<br \/>\nTo set up a clear and coherent marketing plan.<br \/>\nTo monitor business performance on an ongoing basis vis-\u00e0-vis budget and take pro-active<br \/>\nmeasures to achieve it.<br \/>\nTo ensure that the clients of the Bank are serviced efficiently by quick quotations, quality inputs on<br \/>\nthe markets and regular contacts as per the sales process.<br \/>\nTo ensure that necessary steps are taken to address regulatory and internal control guidelines.<br \/>\nTo cross sell other ECOBANK products to the Treasury customer base.<br \/>\nIII. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<br \/>\nFINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND REPORTING<br \/>\nDeliver in ECM Treasury Sales budget.<br \/>\nTo provide direction and migrate best practices, where necessary.<br \/>\nEnsure transmission of reporting related to Treasury Sales activity (FX Flows, FX Blotter, FI<br \/>\nBlotter)<br \/>\nEnsure appropriate tracking and accounting of treasury sales revenues<br \/>\nConsolidation of group FX Flows for Group Manager Treasury Sales<br \/>\nFollow up of group FX volumes and revenues on a yearly basis to advise on trend and<br \/>\nrevenue projections for the Group Manager Treasury Sales<br \/>\nManage the completion of the yearly wallet sizing activity for Treasury Sales Business<br \/>\nManage the Price risk limit approbation process for necessary market risk limits needed for a<br \/>\nsmooth business operation<br \/>\nManage the validation of Treasury Sales related product programs<br \/>\nCOMPLIANCE TO BANK\u2019S AND LOCAL REGULATIONS<br \/>\nTo ensure complete adherence to all of ECOBANK\u2019s compliance and regulatory<br \/>\nrequirements.<br \/>\nTo maintain high standards in terms of compliance and internal process ensuring complete<br \/>\nadequacy to Audit requirements.<br \/>\nTo ensure the business meets its obligation in terms of client appropriateness and suitability<br \/>\nof product supply.<br \/>\nTo maintain good relationship with regulators.<br \/>\nTo keep abreast of the changes in the business and regulatory environment.<br \/>\nTo ensure adherence to proper conduct and professional behaviour for all TSOs.<br \/>\nPEOPLE AND TALENT MANAGEMENT<br \/>\nJoint responsibility with the Country Treasurer and HR heads in the appointment,<br \/>\nmanagement of career, training and retention for all TSOs.<br \/>\nTo build a pipeline of CVs in case some key positions are vacant within ECOBANK<br \/>\nA BETTER WAY<br \/>\nA BETTER AFRICA<br \/>\nV. JOB PROFILE<br \/>\nExperience &amp; Qualifications<br \/>\nFX and Money Market rate management in order to secure the optimum spreads without loss of<br \/>\nbusiness<br \/>\nAt least 5 years in a sales function with knowledge of FICC products and CEMAC regulation being<br \/>\na plus<br \/>\nMinimum Bac+3<br \/>\nTo be able to analyse and interpret market news with a view to provide quality service and inputs<br \/>\nto clients and other business units<br \/>\nTo be able to analyse market trends and information and take steps to further grow business<br \/>\nTo exert sound judgement as to expand customer base within appropriate regulatory and KYC<br \/>\nenvironment<br \/>\nSkills, Capabilities &amp; Personal attributes<br \/>\nA sound knowledge of Treasury products with good appreciation of customer needs.<br \/>\nBroad knowledge of banking practices and local banking regulations.<br \/>\nAbility to motivate and manage staff.<br \/>\nGood analytical and decision-making skills.<br \/>\nAbility to market and establish client relationship.<br \/>\nAbility for good interpersonal skills.<br \/>\nAbility to work under pressure and travel intensively<br \/>\nIV.
