\nBackground:
\nThis project is multidisciplinary project including a a large-scale
\ncluster randomised controlled trial (cRCT) conducted in<\/p>\n
Cameroon to evaluate the impact of spatial repellents (SR) on
\nmalaria transmission and insecticide resistance, compared to
\ndual-active ingredient long-lasting insecticide-treated nets
\n(LLINs). Funded by Unitaid, the trial integrates diverse research
\ncomponents including epidemiology, entomology, modelling,
\nsocial science, and cost-effectiveness analysis.
\nThe project is being implemented in collaboration with the
\nNational Malaria Control Programme (NMCP) and esteemed
\ninternational institutions such as the Liverpool School of Tropical
\nMedicine (LSTM) and the London School of Hygiene and
\nTropical Medicine (LSHTM). Timely and efficient project
\ncoordination is essential to ensure smooth implementation
\nacross all components and partners.
\nJob Purpose
\nThe Project Coordinator will support the Senior Project Manager
\nin planning, coordinating, and implementing project activities.<\/p>\n
The role ensures smooth and timely execution of operational,
\nadministrative, and technical processes across project sites and
\nteams. The Project Coordinator will act as a liaison among field
\nteams, partners, stakeholders, and management to ensure that
\nproject objectives are met in line with donor and institutional
\nrequirements.<\/p>\n
Support communication and collaboration between HQ, field teams, and external
\npartners.
\nOrganize and document team meetings, workshops, and trainings.
\nAssist in the development and monitoring of project work plans, timelines, and
\ndeliverables.
\nMobilize logistics and resources for smooth field operations and training events.
\nTrack milestones and prepare progress updates and internal reports.<\/p>\n
Draft and compile communication materials such as briefing notes and presentations.
\nSupport the documentation of lessons learned and best practices.
\nAssist in preparing budget forecasts and monitor project expenditures.
\nEnsure compliance with administrative, procurement, and financial procedures.
\nMaintain accurate project documentation and correspondence.
\nLiaise with consultants, contractors, and service providers as needed.
\nSupport internal capacity building for project staff and partners.
\nRepresent the project in internal or external meetings when delegated.
\nQualifications, Skills, and Experience:
\nEssential
\n– Bachelor\u2019s degree in Project Management, Public Health, Development Studies,
\nBusiness Administration, or related field (Master\u2019s preferred).
\n– Minimum of 2\u20133 years\u2019 experience in project coordination, ideally in health
\nresearch or NGO sector.
\n– Good understanding of project cycle management and donor-funded project
\nframeworks.
\n– Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities.
\n– Excellent communication skills in English and intermediate knowledge of French.
\n– Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
\nDesirable

\n– Familiarity with health research ethics, protocols, and reporting.
