Job Summary
\n\u00b7 Supervise the preventive, corrective, troubleshooting, shutdown and major and minor maintenance activities, on various types of instrumentation, including PLCs and DCS equipment.
\n\u00b7 Supervise a team of technicians carrying out basic instrumentation maintenance activities according to plan in order to assure the maximum equipment availability and precision respecting all internal maintenance procedures and best-practices and all the safety regulations and procedures.
\n\u00b7 Implement and execute small size project related to modifications, updates and improvement of Automation and SCADA equipment.<\/p>\n
Key Duties and Responsibilities
\nExecute routine check-ups of instrumentation equipment according to maintenance schedule plan, workload, manpower availability and company procedures.
\n\u00b7 Coordinate the testing, repairing, calibration and troubleshooting of the Instrumentation Control systems.
\n\u00b7 Allocate work orders and supervise instrumentation technicians in the execution of activities ensuring adherence to established standards and guidelines.
\n\u00b7 Ensure compliance with HSE procedures during maintenance work.
\n\u00b7 Evaluate the manpower requirement for daily preventive, break down and shutdown maintenance and prepare the job schedule.
\n\u00b7 Monitor the work order status for obstacles, and to re-schedule the task if required.
\n\u00b7 Endorse work feedback and close out work orders in the maintenance database.
\n\u00b7 Liaise with Mechanical and Electrical sections and establish a seamless integration between operation and maintenance teams.
\n\u00b7 Prepare and review various maintenance performance reports such as Preliminary Failure and Root Cause Analysis Reports.
\n\u00b7 Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Instrumentation Manager.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Education and Work Experience
\n\u00b7 A bachelor\u2019s degree or its equivalent in a relevant discipline.
\n\u00b7 Two (2) to four (4) years work experience<\/p>\n

\n\u00b7 Good knowledge of instrumentation operation, monitoring and maintenance.
\n\u00b7 Good communication skills.
\n\u00b7 Good problem solving and analytical skills.
\n\u00b7 Excellent communication, people management and interpersonal skills.
\n\u00b7 Good oral and written communication skills.
\n\u00b7 Good networking and teaming skills.
\n\u00b7 Proficiency in the use of office productivity tools. <\/p>\n
